falkens arent great IMO. They are good comapred to other budget tyres but nothing on MPS2, gsd3, f1 assermerials and the vreds senssantas work great aswell. But falkens are decent enough but if you want something "special" try the MPS2 if you richie rich, acutally im sure shire has some mps2's in the size you need.

1.5 and 2ways lock on deceleration aswell as im sure the oem one only locks on accell. Im sure someone with more knowledge will be here soon.

106 1.5d tud5 will do airship miles normally and spaceship miles if taken care of. They are slow but I made a cheap induction kit off ebay and it knocked 2 seconds off the 0-60 time. Also with no turbo you dont need to worry about an expensive bill. they liked to be revved hard unlike normal diesels so they are quite fun to drive. Handling is awesome and I got through winter easily with some rainsport 2's on(summer tyres) light car heavy engine on front. rear seat space is big as it the boot because of no suspension turrets, its got the torsion bar. Simple to work on, 1 of my injectors was leaking and it still ran fine. If you have a bosch pump you can run 100% veggie oil perfectly fine, as it loves the veg oil and it has a heated fuel filter. Gets 60mpg even when ripping it and 70mpg at 40mph on the dual carrige way. 600-800miles on a £40 tank is normal. Can be tuned it you wanted, NOS is easy and turning up the fuel on the pump.

I'm not sure about that model but I have heard from alot of people including my freind who had one they are good but are dull. He had a 225 with some mods and remap. Was fast but quite dull. Not much feeling in steering and the engine sounded worse than a jdm 350! It's not a sports car like a NSX it's more of a cruiser. But anymore power than what it gives out will be torque steer city. Is it a 2l 5clyinder turbo?

If going for a 106 don't get a petrol 1.1 try and get the diesel 1.5 tud5. Better in every way to the tud3 1.4d

They probably thought you stole it or was someone elses i bought mine from nobles at roslin, great garage to deal with and get on well with service guys. I actually travel from motherwell to roslin for my servicing as they cut me a great deal. i'l give you guys one things you usually don't complain when it's cold as (Angus,taysiders and fifers) moan when it's warm! IMO yes it's very cold but we had an awesome summer most days her where 15c and over. People still moaned we didn't get summer people forget quickly or just like to moan. Does that one power the Bose speakers ok? Does it have a video out?? It could power the Bose speakers but I have a special wire with it (PAC roem nis-2) that keeps the Bose amp working. It does have a video in and out I'm sure but you would be better off checking. Is there any reason you don't want to use the Bose amp?

No IMO you still need a headunit for a few reasons, E.g. lets say you have 2 amps one for comps and one for subs. You would need to do some dodgy wiring to make them both connect at the same time. But a headunit could have 2 rca's and send the signal togther therefore sounding normaly. Easy volume control. Radio + cd's. Can easily fit hands free that will mute the music when you have a call. No amp has several aux ins generally most have one input as an rca and output to speakers. The headunit will take the signal from the ipad and amplify the signal or line drive it e.g. your output on your ipad might be 100mv's but an amp generally requires an input of 2v's so thats its not having to crazy stress. Head unit will make it much higher than the ipad. Also why have an ipod and and ipad and most likely an iphone. Surely the ipad can do what the ipod can do so not needing the ipod. Really the iphone can do what the ipad and ipod can do so you dont need either Also if you would need to be able to move it to sync it. also make sure you jailbreak it and hack the crap out of it.

Also as you already have bose, you would be better hooking the H/U to the bose amp which powers the speakers. Bose amp will probably be louder as it will have more power and as the bose speakers run at stupid impedance e.g. 3ohm(wth!) your best off sticking with the amp. Also the bose might be high passing and low passing some of the speakers so connecting to the H/u straight might cause problems.

If its a JDM it might be worth getting abbey to do it, if they are close by and can do a decent price. Alot of people know nothing about JDM's. Also it might not be that but it might be. Abbey might look at it and could be something completly different. I know you are down about it but once its fixed you can be relaxed thats its nearly new. Unless insurance job?
