  1. i'm not put off, but just alot more cautious as to what to look for. making sure its done properly and checked on a regualr basis. same as you would with a DIY FI install. they aren't just plag and play, people are always checking them and making sure they are running well. i wouldn't expect any modded car with something like this to run well if it wasn't well maintained. did I read right in saying that your wanting to do it to a mk4 r32? Surely for a 2k investment you would want to do it to something better and faster (no offense). Each to their own I suppose but do you see what Im saying? Bmw e39 540i 4.4 v8 lpg converted is
  2. Is this taking into account running the car on petrol to and from work as you indicated? Also the warm up period (minimum 2 miles) has to be factored in. Losing the space in the boot wouldn't be great as I was sure you were changing cars to get a decent sized boot and extra seats. A lot of risk for a lot of compromise for you I feel. If you were commuting 100 miles a day then brilliant but I don't think you'll see much benefit really. Just my 2p worth. +1 A derv might be better if you want to do stupid miles and with the money saved buy a weekend car, or something small and decent on fuel like a 172 or a corolla t sport.
  3. I agree witrh you BM quite comericial and Im not a fan of rnb or drake who isnt rap he is rnb. I like the album though some soppy stuff on it but it is well produced and has some good beats and vocals. TBH Nicki minaj in monster is tha bomb, she killed it. Anyway whats Stew got a land rover?
  4. Pink Friday is also the name of Nicki Minaj's new album, lol Someone thinking they are "hood"?
  5. Tbh alot of horrer stories come from bad fitting, poor servicing and bad support. Best people are Prins. They can do LPG evo's now. LPG is about 100ron. The Prins isn't the cheapest but you can get valvecare off them. Basically it's a 500ml tank that gives valve lube stuff to all valves to keep them in good condition. They are releasing a liquid LPG lot this year. I've read up quite abit about it and alot of installers are rubbish. If you have LPG you can de cat the exhaust to gain back the lost power & it will still pass the mot now that is good to know as for the LPg it won't be going in the S2K as about 3 people are interested in it. and i need more space. plus new business means need better transport for items etc.
  6. Never heard of Db audio. Seems way over priced. Also you are better googlinh car audio centre or cac before ordering they don't have the best two.
  7. Depends really, porcshe for driving pleasure mid engine rule. Audi tt for straight line speed. If you take your porcshe to a specialist they dont work out that expensive to maintian.
  8. Ive heard that royal purple can go all goey and ball like because of the colouring they use. That was diff oil though never heard that but then i wouldn't put diff oil in the engine (don't worry i know what you really meant) to be honest i never heard a bad word said about royal purple. but then i haven't looked that hard i suppose. Where do you order it from?
  9. Do them in silver or black and flick red or blue on them. That looks awesome.
  10. Ive heard that royal purple can go all goey and ball like because of the colouring they use. That was diff oil though
  11. TBH I like the e92 m3 but styling wise the standard coupe's look more elegant. Less is more for them IMO. Most people are like bmw blah blah blah they honestly are lovely lovely cars and ride superbly. 70 also feels like 40 so watch you speed lol. Good luck and post pics when you get it.
  12. Point to point my 172 ia faster not beacause its lighter or more nimble its because I have much more confidence in it. I respect the powe of the 350 much much more and Im still scared of it. If you let someone drive it who knows what they are dpomg then it is faster than a fwd. Fwd is great as its hard to get it wrong and you can make fast progress easily and drive on the edge. I come no where near the edge of the 350 but when my brother drove it who is much more experianced that me he showed me that it could be just as nimble as the 172. Driving pleasure wise rwd is nicer as when you nail a cornor it feels better and its more rewarding. Also in a barge rwd is much nicer aswell makes the car handle better than it should.
  13. if you get a 330i 335i 330d 335d it will
  14. Not for me no speed cameras round here. Only going to Aberdeen and Glasgow. They tried here but the ended up scrapping the idea. I heard that putting up more speed cameras in Scotland was illegal. Alot of people feel strongly about not wanting them here. I see with what your saying but coming back to my main point is that alot of them are hidden. Now I dont speed but some people do knowingly or not. Now IMO they shouldnt be put in sneaky places to catch you they should be very visible and stop you from speeding. Same thing with police cars that hide to catch people IMO its wrong. They should park in a visible place so people will see them and slow down. Prevention is better than cure. Dave im not "bitching" as I dont speed im just saying that the way the work is wrong and they clearly dont work if you need devices to tell you where they are. If you drove the limit why would you need one? Yeah I do agree that they shouldn't be hidden but unfortunately it's too late for that argument as they are already there! All I meant was because they ARE hidden in some places you need a device if you are unfamiliar with the area as it is very easy to move with traffic and slip over 30mph... We should really think ourselves lucky in some ways, I was talking to my brother-in-law who lives in Perth Australia and over there they have wheelie bin cameras and all sorts. He said they put them out on Bank Holidays, one on the Sydney Harbour Bridge on Australia Day made $100,000 in a weekend Speed cameras are a fact of life, you just have to accept it and thats that, we all know that they don't prevent accidents particularly and are a money making scheme but my point was you don't have to be a part of it
  15. Hero chariot. TUD5 engines rule. Btw put an induction kit on it will make it 2 seconds faster to 60 no joke. Also if you got the bosch pump throw some vegi oil in there it will run sweet.
  16. any sound clips of your car D block ?, i have the k2 and japspeed y pipe and wondering what the noise is like with high flow cats ? Il get some up when I get it back

  18. That's abit contradictory? Don't speed but speed aslong as you don't get caught lol. I do get what your saying though. But have you never drove in a place you didn't know and gone 35 instead of 30 as you are really concentrating on the road. Then you look at your speedo and think ohh crap I better slow down. I'm sure everyone has done that and it's not like you ment to speed. Even if it's done for 10 seconds and you get caught. You didn't think I'm going to push it or break the speed limit.
  19. Its a super dull road 70mph limit. I don't speed but alot of people do. You can't see the camera as a huge sign blocks it abd after the sign it'd right there. Speed cameras don't work most people get caught out by accident. Once past the cameras most people speed back up again. +1 and it snot like they are hard to spot either bright yellow and lots of warning signs beofre them; Drive to Aberdeen some are blocked by signs until it's too late. Until it's too late? If you don't speed in the first place, then you don't need a warning sign. Tbh just about every speed camera ever is on a very dull, very boring road or one with a 30/40 limit. Why anyone would want to be speeding on those roads is beyond me.
  20. Drive to Aberdeen some are blocked by signs until it's too late. IMO it's the same with 5o that hide to catch people. It doesn't work and prevention is better than cure. +1 and it snot like they are hard to spot either bright yellow and lots of warning signs beofre them;
  21. Dont get infinities for a smooth sound Im running some infinity perfects and they aint all that. Dynaudio are great. depends on price and sound is different to each person.
  22. I know what you mean Dave the worst thing is that the bass isn't even smooth.
  23. How much power are you going go give them up front? What's your budget? Are you going to amp the coax's? Are you sure you even want to bother with rear speakers? Are you going to put in mdf rings? Sound deadening? P
  24. Id still have the 'rari. A few people on CS have had them and sold them as they are faster than anything but slightly boring and detactched. One now has a 360 which is slower but a hell of a lot better to drive.
