  4. Steering wheel from a uk 350z with steering wheel controls. Its in good condition as you can tell from the photo's. Any questions just ask please. £110 posted Pac Roem nis-2 pre spliced. I also have a pac roem nis-2 all ready to go as it has a iso spliced onto it. This allows you to change your headunit and keep using the bose amp so it will still power all your speakers. Clever bit of kit. £40 posted or offers Cusco style catch can (brand new) This is engine bling but it has a very very useful purpose. it is a baffled can that stops the oily fumes going back into the engine, dirtying your throttle body and reducing the ron of the petrol thats injected. I have all the fixtures and fittings. The blue pipe is the one that came with the can and il send it with it. If you want the black pipe which I bought il throw it in for a decent price. Alpine active crossover, for running active if you know what it is you will know what it does. £30 posted. Clarion double din max 678RVD double din 7" colour screen Ipod headunit. Pics to follow. Its a great headunit which can connect to an Ipod or iphone and even play video through its own screen. Its can also play dvds and play mp3's. Its a clarion unit so you know that SQ is great. You can connect tv tuners (analog or freeview), dab radio and cd changers to it. It has a really nice 7" colour lcd screen. Its in mint condition. It also comes with the ipod cable which is usually £30 and a remote for it also. Its also boxed up and comes with the manual and stuff. I could do a deal with the pac roem nis 2 if you wanted also. Please PM for offers or questions please. Thanks
  5. Only if your fi would you need bigger injectors, or your maxing out your fuel system but I really would doubt that if your only na. If you was to get bigger injectors you would probably need a better fuel pump like a walbro 255 but i really really doubt you will see any improvement with bigger injectors.

    Tyres.

No your wrong there they arent check them up. Near same pricing as gsd-3s. That doesnt make them a cheap tyre. its not all about what you think it cheap aswell as Neil said Alex's 600bhp car runs them no problem. I personally dont think they are that great but some people love them. Different people drive differently and need different tyres to suit their driving style or what they need from a tyre. I have 'checked them up', and they're a cheap budget tyre. They have a poor compound that doesn't like heat so you'll never be able to work them enough to get them proper sticky without them melting, they have floppy sidewalls so you're always increasing the internal pressure to get any turn-in from them, and (whisper it) they're not actually that good in the wet either. Alex may run them on his car but I bet he doesn't get anywhere near adequate grip on them, with his monster you'd need R888s or full slicks to get that kind of power down. They're a cheap solution if you just want something to kill off on a trackday and don't really care about outright pace, which I suspect is how Alex uses them and I would too given how quickly his car must go through rubber, but don't mistake that for a quality tyre. At least you're right about different tyres suiting different driving styles, but we're talking thousandths of a second at the top end of the market here (i.e. the difference between the 050As and the PS2s), not the basics between a budget tyre and a premium one. Have you ever driven in anger a 350Z on the VUS, PS2 or 050A back to back? I have, and the difference is night and day. The FK452/T1R are cheap budget tyres, simple as that. If they were that good do you not think that the big manufacturers would put them on their cars from the factory? They don't, because they're not. By all means put them on your car, but you're sacrificing grip, turn in, feel, and reduced stopping distances in both wet and dry conditions. Yes, they're legal, but that doesn't make them a good companion for the Zed. Well that does depend on if your tracking it or though, if your melting your tyres on your way to the shops you probably need a slap. I havent driven those 3 tyre combos but you didnt mention the tyre in question the t1-r's. Was it the same car? Same tread levels?
  7. sell one and put 2 on the back and get 2 different ones for the front?
  8. where do you want it to go, what cuft do you want from it? There are a few custom box makers in england or ebay for the under strut box, but thats only 0.6cuft after sub displacement.

  10. See - this is the other problem... i dont really want to spend £15k on a diesel when i can buy a zed for £9k instead...leaving me £6k to spend on fuel.. You could spend 15k on a fast diesel yet still miss the drive and noise of a zed. Get a nice 10k zed. 2k for a Prins LPG conversion with valve care. Sorted.
  11. Hi! mby you can rocemend any speakers with any good brand? just in web i found vibe for 70 pounds (rear) with power RMS 120w peak 520w,and find alpine for 65, with power RMS 35 peak 190.its like example. which will be better? can you tell on what need to look in manual, when bye the speakers? RMS or poeak?did i need to look on ghz? Thanks No problem how much money£ do you want to spend. When coming to power the PEAK is no good and means nothing. Always use RMS which means it can give out that sound all the time. Check this website but there are others. Hertz is usually very good. http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/hertz-dieci-dsk-165.html
  12. As the gtr has the boxster has too and its so much nicer, cleaner and rust free than cars that dont have the undertrays.
  13. 5W 40 will handle high ambient temperatures better than 5W 30 Does it? I thought the 30 or 40 is the thickness when hot? it's a measure of viscosity Yes the thickness, so how will the 40 be better at higher heat? Surely its what the car is made for?

    Airbags

They where dealer parts and they wernt nissans. As Mike says is probably the best option. A bit stupid that if you have a 2 seater you don't have a child.

    Insurance Heist

Alot of people are too lazy/stupid to change and the renewal is always higher.
  18. If you have really really pushed the pads and disc it could be hot metal that came spitting out that has burnt itself onto the wheel.
  19. Try your local insurance broker too, its might be just as cheap and you will have someone to chase up stuff it need be plus its supporting local businesses. Im with admiral too though

    Airbags

not sure if this is any help but on my brothers car and my dads car its the same, no where to turn off the abs. They had to buy carseats or module things that send out a signal to stop the airbag coming on. A bit silly IMO as on my 172 its just a key turn on the passengers door.

Have you got a price to get it rebuilt?
  23. I would say vibe is better than fli and edge. Fli and edge is just cheaper and not as good as vibe, but like you said the same company. if you have amps it will be alot better.
  24. 288 mhz i think, i lookied into shipping some in from japan but it fell through. best off asking abbey motorsport as they can get spare key programmed for jdm models. Cheers mate
