Hi I have here for sale my exhaust system which is a Japspeed k2, Japspeed Y pipe and some Kinectz hi flow cats. The only reason Im changing is for something louder and I may well regret that but Il never know if I don’t try. Pics don’t have my name on them as I was by myself and it was bloody windy but the videos show its 100% me. I have had the exhaust system on my car for about 18months now. It sounds spot on IMO. It’s what the car SHOULD have sounded like when it was stock. The K2 really is a great sounding system. Its drone free and it sounds amazing when giving it some. Honestly If I drive around people look and stare but not like look at the chav but more like wow that sounds great. Honestly is an amazing exhaust its not boomy at motorway speeds and sounds very nice and tuneful at higher revs. Its not just “loud†or boomy its nice sounding . I never really heard what difference a Y pipe made as it was fitted at the same time and I know you need to get it mapped for full effect but the car honestly felt more responsive. The Hi flow cats are great as they don’t turn on the CEL and they are legal yet they are still pretty free flowing and give a good noise. The tips are really shiny and look really purposeful on the car. The exhaust is still on my car so it would be a week or two before I could send it. Videos don’t actually do it justice but if your in Scotland and close to Dundee I’d be happy to show you and I’m up in Angus way most days so you could meet me there. If you want more pics I could take more but it would be in the dark Here is the pics it wont let me direct link until I sign in exhaust pics the videos where taken by my freind and I drive like a granny so no speed limits where broke or dangerous driving took place. Also my stereo was on 1 (not bose) so was on really quiet. Took it on my iphone so should be in 720p HD! I ideally want to sell the exhaust and Ypipe together, and would prefer pick up but postage could be arranged. Id be looking at £300 for both which is about £200 off their price new. For the high flow cats Id be looking about £250. well sounds like the hair dresser brother has the better car than you You looked into servicing of the mazzers? A guy I know was so close to buying one until he looked at servicing and realised he coundt actually afford it. Something to look out for Not saying you cant afford it but its a surprise cost like a gtr.

3.4 boxster?

Usually the more modded the car the less Market your selling to. I agree about stripping it but that also costs money. Did you paint the bodykit? As that's a bit of money to paint it. It's worth a decent amount to someone in the know but to an average guy they have no clue.

I think it would be better for the large flat bits but you probably would need a drill and dremel aswell for the other bits.

I think I can use the G220 for the finer polishing but the plenum needs de-burring with wire drill bits first (I think )..........I'm only looking for tidied up clean anyways so I might have a crack next weekend for a day. a g220 is just a random orbital sander you get sanding pads for it and in all grits. I didn't know you could get sanding pads for it! Presumably I'd need a different backing plate would I? depends you can get some abralon pads which work on velcro for other sanding pads you may need a different plate.

+1 I hate when i get in the 172 and look like a spaz trying to indicate or flash someone. Really as the Japanese drive on the right JDM cars have the stalks in the proper place where as most other cars get made on the otherside and dont bother to change the stalks.

I found my car used to be like that until I cleaned the throttle body good and proper and did all the resets, now it seems fine.

It could be that as said. Really you want your wax on first IMO and use last touch as a drying aid and a top up for the next time you wash it. Also some waxes like dodo SN rehaze after awhile so it could be that. Lastly are applying the wax quite thin?

What proof do you have of that? Are you willing to pay for a new engine if it damages his engine? Why would it damage his engine? How could it damage his engine?

nowt just pricey!! Sorry didnt explain myself, not standard nissan I mean just non grooved and non drilled. Mine are with ds2500 and I dont rag the hell out of my car mainly a DD with a few b roads but never have I experiance brake fade. If your a guy who hammers your car or goes on track I would get something better but if its mainly DD you do a and a b road blast is less then 10mins I think you would be fine no?

Isn't abbey near you? Agree with what's been said above. I personally don't trust garages but what do they care they allways busy. If you take your oil it's 1 cheaper and 2 your own preference and what's best for the car. It's ment for 5-30 but 5-40 is fine but to save getting in more expensive oil some garages might bung in some 10-40. Also try haggling

Its not that i'm moaning about sitting around for 3 hours or so.Its not a big deal.Its just not that convenient as I'm busy at work. Horsham quoted me about 400 or 495 with the coolant changed. This was for a P3.I doubt this includes transmission and diff change.(although I could be wrong). I guess I could buy the oil off zmanlex(or whoever) here but i'm sure horsham have all the best oil in stock. I could have a go at replacing them myself.Never done it before.Guides on here I guess. Anyway looks like horsham is the way to go. Thanks for all your quick replies.Appreciated!! seems really expensive though unless that includes spark plugs. Im sure my p3 was 290 odd pound but I supplied my own oil, filter and washer. Why not see if there is a member who can help you on your day off. But if not horsham seems the better option.

Possibly but the car doesnt feel fast because he only drove a standard one and they sound poo. Also the power is so smooth that its doesnt feel super fast but it pulls and pulls.
