    Rota's

I would email rarerims and Tarmac see if they could hook you up.
  2. Depend on the age of your leather and condition of may need different things. Only of your leather is cracked or pourous should you need to condition it as most car leathers are sealed. Furniture clinic sells all sorts of stuff from this putty stuff which covers cracks to the actual painting kit. Worth looking at if they need doing been looking at the gliptone stuff, but any good reccomendations would be really appreciated as its going to be something new to learn and i really like the idea of renovating the seats myself and not paying someone else to do it.
  3. Good on you, the knowledge the car gives you will be free I suppose. I'm not sure what the owners club is like for it but if you have a good guides section you can get most jobs done easily. Are you going with the furniture clinic stuff for the leather?
  4. I've read that before makes me shiver at it could be you at any point. Makes you scared to drive. Be careful out there
  5. True, I didn't read it as he wanted a full wrap but looking at it in context I'm sure your right. I just want to get 5 people on the gb
  6. RTbiscuit also has a group buy on Hexxis vinyl at the moment and wraps other things on an exchange basis, come on Rich standard grade business management
  7. i think its past the point of more sanding, the area already has a nice shine to it, so higher grade W&D won't help. its time to get it checked first by a body shop before doing anything else. ahh looked like it just wasnt flat to me and it needed some sanding.
  8. thought about getting a rotary and going to town? Are you going to use this as a canvas to showcase your graphics and wrapping? Matt british racing green would make you ball like bo'diddly
  9. Could you not sand it with some 3000 then 4000 and then uses some menz IP or something similar?
  10. The boy hath already done - surprised you weren't blown away by it though Rich - Black hole is amazing stuff. i could still see swirls in the paint, which made me think i was using it wrong, had the DA set to about 2 and wokred it in to the paint, left it to haze, then buffed off, but it didn't seem to do much don't know if i should have worked worked it in more or what got plenty of time to play with it. i'll have another go next clean. Blackhole is like britemax #4 isnt it? If so its just fillers so you will still see the swirls but just less.
  11. +1 V cheap. Im sure they where on the g35s and skylines so you can get a rough guess.
  12. On the west coast there is a news flash when there is an orange fireball in the sky
  13. scrap panel is always a good cheap way to practise.
  14. I know that's why I explained to use the double oil type. DBlock, the youtube vid is talking about using chemical engine flushes, not a double oil change type flush.
  15. Rtbiscuit has a special on vinyl at the moment. It's Hexxis stuff aswell that's the best
  16. I used engine flush on my 172 at 80k and it seemed fine still going now. Would I use it on my dads 160k mile merc probably not. IMO the safest way is to drop the oil change the filter then put a cheap decent oil in like unipart or comma then drive it for 20-50 miles then drop it whilst it's still warm. When it starts to dribble out pour more oil in the top to drag more dirty oil out.
  17. Isnt the blitz there at the bottom. Dont mean to be picky but there is a typo it should be 5zigen no? *ahem* nobody took notice last time

  19. IMO PIAA wipers are a rip. Your paying through the nose for not great protection. IMO clay your screen or use glass cutter, then clean it with something good like nilglass. Then put on rainx or G1. Much much better than the piaa ones and half the price, also use the a decent screen wash and your sorted. But some people like PIAA.
  20. HKS would be in the upper budget? If its a replica then in the lower budget as it comes with Y pipe aswell.
  21. Im in Dundee, Scotland postage shouldn't be top much of a problem though.
  22. have you ever driven a porsche? Also the zed is horrible out of the box, I was close to selling it as it had no feeling. Also the z makes a nice noise but it doesn't have charector like my 172. The GT or GT3RS - then for sure I'd like a Porsche - but only for messing around in. I wouldn't want to drive one to work?! It has no character. Although, I quite like the Cayman S - nice looking
