  2. I tend to disagree with you here. My car is pinking, whether I use 98ron,95ron any ron. Pinking does not get any better or worse regardless of fuel used. Your car is broken though
  3. Like you say the smaller ones are fine for the nuts to go on but 20mm is quite alot. Maybe it depend on the quality bit on another car I got some 5mm slip ons and it wobbled from every wheel
  4. 2 reasons, 1 they will wobble about Ive personally found slip ons over 3mm make the wheels wobble. 2, if you put a 20mm slip on spacer what would the nuts go on? there wouldnt be much thread keeping your wheel to your car.

    Brakes Upgrade

    that should be more than enough just bide your time. I got brembo front and back discs pads calipers and lines for a little over £800 on here so it can be done. Loads of meat was left on the discs and pads for what I needed them for.

Ment as a honest question to you rich i think the newer version combats alot of those issues, i must admit what i'm looking for in a car is different to what i wanted in the zed, i much prefer my jag to the zed; but then i want more comfort, 2 more seats, and an auto box for my ever decreasing knee. there are mods for the older ones that can switch the weight of the steering to give back the feel, you can also retro fit paddle shifts. but it all comes down to what your looking for in a car, as for soul thats very much down to personal opinion, i think the old jag has bundles of soul. i'd rather the jag over a hot hatch. aimed at me or the last poster?

  17. Brake pads make a big difference to ds2500 are dusty as he'll.
  18. horrible things to drive. honestly they weigh about 5million tons. Handle like a barge feels like you are constanstly about to tip and when on the lower setting is less comfortable then sitting on a chair of angry scorpions. at 70 with cruise on it was getting 13.3mpg thats for a 3l diesel!! and its crap in the snow, and cos it weighs a billion tons when trying to brake in snow you will die. Totally disagree with you on that. I found it very good to drive. The s-line stuff and paddle gearbox was amazing. The car handles fantastically also for a 3ton 4x4. Even on 22" wheels it feels light on the steering. The acceleration and torque is mind-blowing. 130quid for a tank of fuel and got 530miles out the tank with various thrashing and runs to the gym etc. What you have to remember is that it's not a sports car and doesn't drive like one. It drives like a fast 4x4. it was a s line that I drove. got just over 400miles from a tank with cruise. I wasnt thrashing it, was mainly motorway and some city but not much stop start. Acceleration is terrible and it was hardly torquey. Maybe you drove a better one that what I did it was an 07 sline 3.0 v6 tdi? Honestly an x5 is much much much nicer. My uncle sold his q7 as it was terrible of fuel too, replaced it with a 550i which was better on fuel. now that 5.0 v8 had torque and acceleration. Different people perfer different things though.

  20. i personally perfer the look of the oem ones to the rays but when you get rays they make a big difference to how the car feels. Lightweights rules.

    It's hardy cheap it touching m3 prices. Have you ever driven a boxster if you have you would understand. I personally perfer my zed but only because it's modded. I'm Not sure if ekona will agree with me but the boxster is actually better chassis wise. If you put the 3.8 block in there which people have done on most roads it would take your 911. Mid engine is just so balanced.
  23. How did you know that the ones with the lambda plugged in was hfc? I wouldn't rip another member off. That's not good! There was me all happy thinking I had 2 sets of HFCs. I was going to give a pair to a friend of mine who also has a 350z, I guess not! Thanks for finding out for me, appreciate it! I
