I've aready pulled the codes but not sure which cylinder is misfiring

Hmm all that from a leaf! I'm going up clean the maf on my day off. Any tips? I have maf cleaner spray. Also how did a leaf get up there ? Ricky unfortunately I don't know anyone with a Jobd reader. I might get one for myself if they are reasonable enough.

Why is it overpriced? Yes its a 2003 Z but you only need to see the quality of the parts used in the build to tell you its not exactly your average Z. If anyone was planning on a balls out N/A build then they can't really go wrong with this car IMO. Have a look at how much it would cost you to get to 352bhp in N/A form Its not to you as you know how much work has gone into it. The listing doesnt really show that does it? Also does he have a build thread 352 on N/A sounds awesome!

Same thing happened to me teeny tiny button which is far to easy to knock with the knee

a little button beneith the steering wheel that says auto. Its a small round button

I will be cleaning the maf to make sure but the p0350 code indicates a coil/ignition failure. I have heard some coil packs once warm start cutting out. I started my car today and it was fine but if I drove it around and got it hot it might do the same thing. Hopefully on Wednesday Il be cleaning my MAF, checking battery and then replacing one by one the coilpacks.

It's doing that. I can tell from the volt gauge being at 12v and I had a failing jdm battery before this one (new kne about months old) and you could hear it not wanting to start. Plus it seems to do it when the car is hot and has been driven for abit.

Cheers, I do have a pretty big sound system but the first time it did it, it was just on normal volume. The volt metre looks fine too though but il whip out the multimetre just incase. Il check the maf too thanks I do get the feeling it was missfiring though I think il swap the coil packs one at a time to get it hot and see if it does it again. Il still check battery and maf though just incase. Looks like a fiddely job

Hi guys could use some help please. Basically I got to work and it starting doing a funny idle sort of thing, I turned it off and turned the car on and it seemed fine. Weird. Then as I was heading home it seemed fine. I got to the traffic lights after about 15mins of driving and it started doing that rough idle thing again and my CEL, TSC OFF and SLIP lights all came on. Turned it off and on but it was still the same. Now Ive pulled the codes p0350 which is P0350 Ignition Coil Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction and p0550 which is P0550 - Power Steering Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction. Now im taking the p0350 is to do with coil packs? If so should I just replace them until it stops going funny? Ive read that they can go funny when hot and work ok when cold? and the P0550 what can I do about this one? Should I just change the power steering sensor? Any help will be appreciated. I will before anyone says or if someone can show him this thread I would be thankful. If there is anyone local who can help that would be great as I need my car to get to work and without it, its a real real pain as I work about 20miles away and work late. Thanks

Exactly what i meant earlier due to less output at the wheels, if, say some numpty's coming straight at you sideways, there wouldn't be the response with snow mode off if i'm right in thinking Yes so much so that as you say its dangerous. If you ever lean on the button by accident it feels like the car is broke

Would also think it'll slow down the reaction time of the throttle should you need it i think actually chooses higher gears and allows the car to rev more without transferring too much torque to the wheels. Thats what it does in our xc90. If you change it back to manual quickly while pulling away, it pulls away in 3rd instead of first. +1 so your actually driving the engine harder but less output to the wheels.

Look under the bonnet and check if you got a old Jdm battery which will be tiny. Change the terminals and put a uk battery in which has double the power. Also snow mode is pap. It doesn't give you better mpg probably worse. Use it , it's dangerous and useless in the snow.

My next car might a w211 e55 they look and go awesome. Tuning in the e55 is crazy not sure about e63.

IMO falkens aren't great for clearing water, deep water at low speeds you get a shuffle which isn't nice. Winter tyres are awesome for clearing water though.

Possibly but when you have spent much money on nice why not take the time to do it properly. And for every 100 people on hi fi or speaker forums say they don't need breaking in 100 people say they do so it's up to you who you chose to believe. Sums it up pretty well. The reason that you're told to give it 30 hours or 100 hours is to allow your ears to get used to a totally different sound than you're used to, rather than just taking the whole lot back straight away and saying it's rubbish. It's a manufacturer customer relations ploy, not a technical/scientific one, because people are fickle things who get used to hearing stuff sound a particular way.

I'd imagine it's to bring the stage higher, closer to the ear and on axis. It's not a myth, Cheaper ones yes but expensive ones do need run in especially Kevlar ones the sound usually changes and the speaker loosens up. Sending silly amounts of power to the speaker quickly might invalidate your warrenty on your expensive speakers too. The same if it's -20c you wouldn't get in and blast it. Some people say 80% of full power some people say 40% how are you planning to do it NotFub as 100hours is a long time.

No bose build decent systems and mainly indoor cinema or big halls and so on. But come listen to Notfubs car and you will think bose is pretty crap. Also as far as SQ goes clarion is much better than bose.
