  1. Try some tent protector stuff that you brush on? Can't remember it's name but my brother uses it his car and it's much better than the proper sealant I got him

    Toyota FT-86

I'm surprised your car can out accelerate anything considering that a 2l Clio wipes the floor with the 2.7 v6 coupe
  3. That's like anything though surely. You get a forged engine turbo it and run 600bhp in 6 months you will want more. As you will get used to the power. IMO if nothing else your fuel is better and your AFR will be right so less to go wrong.
  4. wow your bumper is made from lego
  5. you can get a e60 m5 v10 for 15ishk

    Ballast

how much was a ballast if you dont mind me asking?
  7. Sorry to OP for hijacking I cleaned my filter, cleaned the maf, cleaned the throttle body and changed the spark plugs. Changing the spark plugs is a pain in the backside if you have worked on I4 cars before. Idle is now smooth and the car seems a little more responsive and keener, could be down to the ecu reset and idle control reset thing though.
  8. A bit of ferosol and it should come off. Sounds like a micky mouse place no offence. Ive got a impact wrench that is about 700nm and a big breaker bar that could easily do that, a bit of heat would probably do it. Worst comes to worst they could grind the bolt off no?
  9. I dont have it done, but most who are disapointed must be either chasing numbers or expecting a big increase like 50bhp which isnt likely. Your mods dont do much until you have your car mapped for them. You also get some better mpgs. This is IMO of course.
  10. Get to CS he will sort it for you
  11. I only need them for the mot hence not needing HFCs. I'm I'm Dundee Scotland.
  12. Hi guys, I need to buy or borrow some cats. I have a jdm 350z the DE engine. Not HFC's as I need these for my mot. I've already pm'ed Zman. Cheers
  13. For the price of doing the job if you was to pay it would be cheaper just getting 6 new plugs IMO. I'm hoping to change mine tomorrow.
  14. I'm gonna clean my air filter and clean the maf. I got some maf cleaner any idea on how to use it.
  15. aircon on or off Air con off. It's like every 5 or so seconds it's missfiring or about to stall and it goes down then up.
  16. Not sure about the OP. I'm using tesco 99. My car isn't bad at roundabouts just idle.
  17. How would it? Drawing less current is safer than drawing more. I would be careful with those led bulbs, its unclear from the picture or listing that they have a resistor built into them which. I have seen on some ebay adds the following where the LEDs dont have a built in resistor DUE TO THE REDUCED RESISTANCE IN LED BULBS CERTAIN CARS MAY REQUIRE A RESISTOR TO BE INSTALLED WHICH WILL THEN ALLOW THE BULBS TO SIMULATE THE SAME RESISTANCE AS YOUR STANDARD FILAMENT BULBS. A SMALL ADDITIONAL PRICE TO PAY TO ACHIEVE THE LOOK THAT THESE BULBS WILL PRODUCE! here you can see ones for the Zed with the resistor built in. http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/501-le ... rch=c14858 i would be more concerned if the sidelights without the resistors have an adverse effect on the bcm or ecu.
  18. Octane booster might be handy for people going on trips where 99 isn't gauranteed.
  19. +1 in fancier cars they need to show a drain on voltage or amps. If it doesn't it shows up that the bulb isn't working even though the led is but it draws much less. 20. You not read the bit under the picture? Imagine you bought a car and received no support if you was rich enough the mere fact its posted on here means its damaged lambo image. Good on him IMO.
  21. There is a few ways. You could lock the fly wheel. Or you could put it in 6th to crack the pulley bolt. Or you could use a strap wrench in one direction and a breaker bar in the other. Some people use a "cheater" bar. They jam the breaker bar on the floor and start the engine to crack it. Check out the US sites for more info.
  22. Nah. They are 20's and my uncle had them on his 7. Even 20's looked lost on that car.
  23. The guy did some donuts. Ruined his clutch which aren't the best anyway and everyone gets on their high horse. What if the car park was completely empty no one there and it was safe to do donuts. Yeah it's abit silly but it doesn't make him a bad driver. Same thing when that guys engine blew a few people couldn't say ahh shame no the high horse was being ridden.
