  1. Most likely need re tensioned or tightened. Unless your doing short journeys in which case the squeel is just water coming off them usually.
  2. Need your help again please my peeps, I've seen the sticky about the wheel alignment settings but does that still count if my car is lowered or do they change slightly? Its lowered 30mm on eibachs its a JDM too. I also have cusco control arms and rear eibach camber arms so that should give my car greater than usually adjustment. My front tyres have worn on the inside even though when I first got my car lowered it had 4 wheel alignment done then. If I could get the correct spec's for a lowered 350z then it may stop this happening again. If its the exact same as the sticky above then just let me know Not looking for racecar or drift setup just normal road Cheers
  3. Picture guide if your doing it anytime soon?
  4. Im sure you have to do both. No harm in it though.
  5. With admiral/elephant. Got my mum and Sister on the policy that knocked it down a fair bit. They have their own cars so not really main drivers. It was less fully comp when I was 20 than my 172 third part f&t i was about 1k when i was 20
  6. If its not just an idle reset, check your maf is screwed and in place. and clean that with maf cleaner then idle reset.
  7. Ive got some jdm calipers, front and rear just pm me.
  8. Looking around the internet people are saying the same as me. Grip on the vred's are awesome but they are wearing away quickly most likly since its a soft compound. I think the goodyears it is
  9. From BMW where it's all nice and people call you sir. It's not far off then what you might have to pay at nissan where the service isn't even matched.
  10. I have heard good things about them but I can't tryst any tyre review too much as they always come in different places. http://www.caranddriver.com/comparisons/hankook-ventus-v12-evo-page-10 "consistent laps with no surprises" "In the wet, however, the V12s were as sporty and connected as they come, with grip second only to the PS2s’ and the best braking. The Hankooks were extremely consistent, likely because they were so well-behaved, which made them easy to drive quickly."
  11. i'm just off out but i'll look later, as for the falkens, i ran them on the S2000; and i now run them on the jag, and to be fair they are pretty bloody good....but....i would pu that down to the low profile i have/need for both cars, meant the tyre wall was/is extremly stiff. but the compound, and wet and dry grip have been brilliant. on stock rims i wouldn't pput falkens on the zed as with the 45 profile i think you get to much movement. but if you're running larger 19" rims then they're worth a punt. just from browsing camskills quickly the hankooks are all pretty good http://camskill.co.uk/m61b0s322p63448/H ... 95Y_XL_TL_ http://camskill.co.uk/m61b0s322p15229/H ... 95Y_XL_TL_ as are the dunlop sp sportmaxx http://camskill.co.uk/m61b0s322p73082/D ... _A4_S-Line also worth a look are uniroyal rainsport 2's but they have a soft side wall. will post up more in a bit. I know its abit silly but I dont really rate the hankook's. I know the v12 are ment to be good and when my tyres need changing on the clio il give them a punt but on the 350 I like to stay with tyres I know. Im still getting to grips with the car and keeping it preditable is a big thing for me. At the moment ive got some vred sportrac 4's on the clio and they seem quite good. Rainsport 2's are epic in the wet but so so on dry. I had some of them on my 106. Falkens are ok IMO. Much better than your crappy stuff like wanli or even stuff garages put on cars like federal and firestone. But they dont suit my driving style. I also think lack feel. They are though now the vreds arent in stock in alot of places excellent value for money. Ive had falkens on my mums and dads last 2 cars. My 106 also had some ziex912's which werent bad considoring they where sub £30 new each.
  12. I dont mind spending a little more tbh. I personally like both tyres and they both give rougly the same grip in the dry but same as yourself the vreds seem to be very soft. I know thats what gives them their grip but if the goodyears are getting just as good grip but wear alot less its a winner. for 4 tyres the goodyear f1's are about £150 more expensive but they shouldnt wear as quick.
  13. Ive already got one and its £60 vs £250
  14. crikey !! ill look into this!!!! i have seen other engine covers and inside bonnets and all sorts with this painted on! i didnt know its true meaning.... hmm well its a bit late now.... and i like the cover..... i hope no one at a car show gets offended! hopefully theyll just think "she doesnt probably know the meaning of it!?" which infact is true then! owwh that is a shame!!! I wouldn't worry too much, I still have my rising sun support stick propped up in my living room, no one else knows what it means really. If you personally don't have a problem with it then its fine if someone else does, then that's something they need to deal with, I didn't throw my flag away because my mate was offended by it. Have a read up on it, always good to prop up your knowledge on history, heck if someone does say something at a car show at least you can talk in an informed manner about it! Not a very good freind are you. I bet ebay doesnt get offended about a flag
  15. Wont that front size confuse the TCS? Bought the car like that. Had it for nearly 3 years. *whispers* I think it's a myth.
  16. Im looking for 235/40/18 and 245/45/18
  17. I never trust tyre reviews as someone driving an elise could be comparing tyre wear to a jeep and so on. Mega, I use fk452 on my mum and dads car. They are ok but no way id put them on the 350. Ive tried the vred's before but they seem to wear to fast for my liking.
  18. Camskill or mytyres. Try to go for a more common size like for my Clio it's cheaper for 195's over 185 and 205.
