  1. Why you needing headlights? Also pre facelift lights aren't too expensive usually.
  2. get the rac/aa to inspect it. Its cheap and adding £100 odd quid wont hurt. Id say go for it though.
  3. I got these in the last group buy but still havent fitted them. Will do soon. The main advantage over AMS pulleys over all others like UR, KJR etc is the metal sleve which wont wear out or make the main crank seal leak. Not under driven so all OEM belts fit and its a kit, not just the crank pulley.
  4. Im sure the early ones where skittish but alignment sorted them.
  5. Good man I like to see the car used on a daily basis. It's a great all rounder and good on fuel considering. I'm on 90 odd k. Got the car with 66k. The whole point of a Japanese sports car is a practical reliable mile muncher. Let's hope it gives you another 100k problem free
  6. I personally dont see the problem with buying old 350's. They are bullet proof and your not going to get hit with the deprication of a newer one. If it does go wrong it does at the end of the day as no car is immune to failure of something. Mine is a daily and will be coming up for 90k very soon. You wouldnt do that in an 07 would you? if you service the car yourself then running costs are very low considering the type of car. Petrol and insurance are only getting more expensive
  7. completly but has anyone seen the idea of a 6 stroke?
  8. My DE did this when I cleaned the throttle body. Idle air relearn sorted it but it could be a different issue.
  9. he got it remapped plus if you put decats on you don't magically drop 15mpg be aide of no remap.
  10. Boxsters can be tracked straight away they are made for it.
  11. Decats made my fuel economy a teeny bit better. Lambda sensor broken?

    Handling

Not really if you got bald tires on the rear of a fwd if you are pushing too hard your dead. If the car starts to spin which is loss of back end grip you can't get it back in a fwd car. Fine for pootling about in a @*!# box to and from work, but in a 1.5 tonne 300HP RWD car, its not something you want to consider Mixing also isnt anywhere near as much an issue with FWD cars which predominantly understeer off the road before anything bad happens. Its also no real problem in the Zed when its dry, its when you hit damp of wet tarmac that the car handles weirdly with mixed tyres.

    Buddy club

Scorpion will fit a JDM. Buddy club isnt that expensive consdoring as said its comes with a Y pipe. Ive heard its loud though. I ran a trueduel hks replica with decats and that was loud. I didnt mind it was silly loud but it was a very bassy note. Depends on what sound you want. Scorpion will be a little more refined but buddy club sounds a lot more raw. Try to hear a member that is close by with a k1 or buddy club.
  17. Thanks for the explanation. But how does this relate to the cruise control still being available? Thanks, Yes it does, if you didnt know what 1:1 ratio was your not going to need or want it. Chirs just confused you TBH . Yes you keep cruise.
  18. In most dealers including Porsche it's the trainee's that do it. Servicing isn't considered a hard job and so left to the young guys.
  19. micra's have chains too Most likely Aux belt as said.
  20. 5-30 is fine. As said Mitz will know anyway. The denso's are cheaper because Nissan is making a silly mark up? Are you getting them from Mitz? As for coolant its mono gylcolene I think the blue one.
  21. +1 I'm using f1's now. The vreds are made of very soft compound.
  22. Yes then it can't be too bad. Just double check there isn't to many hidden costs when sending something they usually charge you postage for it to be sent back.
  23. +1 you cant seem to get a good sq based multimedia system. Ive used JVC in my last 2 cars and really liked them. I personally if you can would would for the 8xx series. Also try caraudiodirect you can usually get a bit of discount of them and postage isnt stupid at £8 or something. BUT if your buying a new headunit purely to add quality to the bose system you might be disapointed. The source unit isnt going to be 100x better then the bose cd player. Espically since to you will probably keep using the bose amp. If your that disapointed in the bose it needs to come out, all of it.
