Tell me about it. Tbh thats the whole reason I got my jvc for the DAB. It worked out at £250 for the dab box for my clarion and 90 odd quid for the jvc box on eBay. You need to check the availability map from where you live and where you drive to. If its pretty much covered then an interior one will be fine. But it reception is sketchy you need a magnetic base one. The guy on dabow's is Pretty friendly. I picked his brains about getting one. I ended up getting it from CAD with a discount code easily found online.

Comes down to taste I suppose. She wasn't really big until paper plane.

I usually work in mm but 13x7 sounds familiar to me for the rear. I went Jdm rear and small legal rectangle plate at the front. Its pretty small but still legal

All new tyres sold by reputable dealers in the U.K have to meet a BS-ISO standard, I'm pretty certain that while the grip level and braking distance of some tyres isn't as good as others none of them are actually dangerous. The only case I can recall where tyres were actually dangerous was in The U.S involving Firestone/Bridgestone tyres fitted to SUV's and Light trucks 3 or 4 years ago I think. Pete even so I bet below 3c the sv-2 will outperform most summer tyres.

All winter tyres are great in the wet as thats what they are designed for. you can be going along at 70mph through massive puddles with no tugging at the wheel no aquaplaning or anything Ive got the Ts830's but they are only 16" so the price was decent

Internal dab aerial is pretty good. I have a jvc long one. hal something maybe? Ive heard them converters can be pretty rubbish as the normal aerial isnt designed to pick up dab signal. It will but it might not be great. For any exterior aerials they want to drill holes. I asked about using a exterior one in my boot and was told it wouldnt work, same with under the bonnet. You can hardly see the windscreen aerial as its just a line. I havent had a problem with it yet TBH. if your signal does run out whilst listening to say radio 1 it will switch to radio1 fm but this never really happens. Even on the country roads to Stonehaven I didnt have a DAB drop out.

Winter tyres and you will be fine. Snow socks dont hold up that well and is more a temporary get me home sort of thing. You can drive in really bad conditions with snow tires you just have the grip.

Just buy a massive hose. It will cost about 30-40 for a good one. 10m is what I have. Just wait till your gun breaks then you will see how expensive stuff is

I lived in Tokyo for a year, didn't see a single snowflake... It 100% snows in the north though.

With the right tyres it would be fine. Why would the Germans and Japanese who get much more snow then us make their cars undrivable for part of the year.

Ive still got my winter tyres on. No snow up here in Bonnie Scotland.

I'm not sure if your car is different but all BMW I've known over read mpg by about 2-4mpg so just be aware lol.

Gsd3 arent fantastic in the wet but the F1a2's are much better. Dry grip IMO couldnt have been better but sometimes different tyres suit different cars and driving styles.
