    T1-r's surely? T1-S's are proper old school. They are about as noisy as the gsd3's and last half as long. Sidewalls are soft on them aswell but never had any real problems running them at 195/45/15
  6. I'm going on the assumption you have rays. Then 19s will be heavier. 19s suit the care better. As your buying new alloys you can buy ones you like so improving the look of your car. If you get the 19's in a decent size you can get more grip with wider tyres and you improve looks and stance. Tyres cost a little more though. You can get the right offsets if your getting new weeks. Best place would be CS.
  7. CAS are ok but not that cheap and postage is usually silly. CAC stay away from. CAD is the best
  8. HRV would be good too I reckon and must be dirt cheap to run May be a bit small though - need to have a look at one in the flesh me thinks. Not a very common sight on the roads around Aberdeen. Thats cos it not an audi

  11. You want something that can be hammered with a sense of safety go with the ST. You want to drive slower but have more fun get the zed. I have a 172 and a 350. One isnt better than the other as they both have plus points but I personally feel the zed is more rewarding, the noise, the weight of the steering wheel and the driving position make you feel a little more special. The clio on most roads is faster not because it is but because I am still comfortable with FWD, I can push harder without worrying and can be steered with a throttle believe it or not. Depends on yourself though. Drive both. Your not wrong for liking one over the other. As I said the 172 is faster (until Im a master driver ) but the 350 feels so much more special when doing it. Some people like the speed, some people like the drama. I prefer the latter

  13. Sainsburys own brand could have been made by a big supplier and just been rebranded. Mobil 1 isn't very good anymore too

    I'd imagine an exhaust manifold? I take it your wanting non standard ones? eBay cheapies something from America?

  16. I'm not sure you can snow foam with that but you could try it? Even if it provides a Slippy surface its better than nothing Maybe a TFR at weak dilution or a lil bit of hyper wash?
  17. Oil is pretty much oil TBH as long as its fully synth and it's got the right spec 5-30 it will be fine. Silkolene is nice but I change my oil pretty regularly so it doesn't matter to much to me. Why not try castrol SRF or what ever it's called now. It's pretty pricey so the motul stuff might be worth it and changed each year?

  19. JDM's have 3 cup holders only 2 seats JDM exhausts are quieter than uk ones. Some JDMs have 80l fuel tanks same as UK.
