  1. It is a nice offer and if you think its genuine then take him up on it. BUT if they guy couldn't undo the nut I'd not trust him doing my tracking/alignment as he won't take the rap for ruining my tyres if he then does the alignment wrong.
  2. How can they tell one one of the big/small ends is on their way out?
  3. I see what your saying but trust me the big arch gap looks stupid. Once your on 40's you will never ever look back to the ballon tyres. Only other option is coilivers then?
  4. He was probably just happy not to see an Audi
  5. No. Best way IMO is to fit 40 profile tyres. Front and back. Makes the car look so so so much better.
  6. I do. A zed is a zed. Even a 240 280 and I know it's not a z but a zx but still wave at them. 300zx tt owners are cool guys.
  7. Most people see that and are lulled into a false security. They will be the head or master mechanic. The guy changing your oil was probably 18. I'm sure its fine but something to bear in mind. I very much doubt it, imagine EVERY stereotype about an old Jag garage and this place would be it.... I doubt an 18 year old would have shrink wrapped my steering wheel... Of course they would. They are there to work. Porsches are owned by old skoolers. All simple stuff is done by the 18 year olds. Your probably right but I trust NO garage.

  9. I shouldn't but I lolled hard.
  10. Is your maf connected and clean? Your throttle body been reset? Deffo no air leaks from the plenum?
  11. Exactly. I wonder why people ask dealers to do any job other than a oil change if you want to keep the book stamped. go to a dealer if : You want to be ripped off You want bad advice You want to be overcharged for labour and parts You want poor work done to your car Simple iMO. I don't mean this to slate you Dicky I'm sure you know now but I've told many people to not go to nissan and then they do and say oh they put 10-40 in my car or they said washer fluid costs 2k
  12. Unless you got a hummer with a lift kit on stilts and100000000bhp no car would drive like or feel like that lol.
  13. That's pretty rubbish. Like I said though traders on here can get you an engine much much cheaper than that.
  14. What's wrong with it? Which garage did you take it to and where are you. To keep everyone happy what fuel did you use? Worst case is you need a new engine zman can hook you up for a little over a grand. Best case is that the garage have no clue and it's something fairly easy.
  15. Just be careful mate. If its cold the tyre aren't as soft or grippy as they normally are. Glad to hear you got out of it though.

    Next car?

It's a shame the 850CSi's are so much money. Nearly 400bhp in a v12 back then must have been insane!
  17. The uk one is louder than the super quiet JDM one. The mid section pipe normally breaks. It can be sleeved or repaired but if your spending over £100 I'd pm CS or tarmac and go aftermarket. The car doesn't come alive until you put a nice exhaust on.
  18. Could be but I still do the exact same thing to 172 owners and they are always cheery.
  19. Unless your getting it maor cheap I'd still go aftermarket. The exhausts have a few weak points.
  20. I'm against that in alot of ways but when I used to play Xbox online 95% of people where probably the most homophobic and racist people I've ever heard. No cool for someone who just wants to chill but I suppose it is the Internet.
  21. The gsd3s no. They have their good points but the f1a2 are better in all ways including noise. The gsd3s are noisey. It started to get cold before I had a chance to properly test but the mpss seek to be better in a few places but obviously with have to wait till it heats up. If mpss wasnt available the f1a2's would be my next choice. Better than the vreds and falkens which IMO are quite soft. Good tyre but these ones are just better.
  22. Correct me if I'm wrong, but are the MPSS not Michelin's highest performing summer tyre, or have I missed something? No more so than the 452 are Falken's highest performing summer tyre, or the RE050A Bridgestone's highest performing summer tyre. To avoid confusion, if a tyre isn't specifically designed for sub 7c usage, then the trend is to start calling them summer tyres. The amount of water the MPSS is designed to shift makes it the best all-year round tyre you can buy. Are they M&S rated? If not you will have a problem today as its snowing. I don't get the MPSS are amazing compared to 452's thing. The GSD3's or F1A2's are amazing compared to 452's. Plus the rate 452's wear the MPSS will probably work out the same price over time.
  23. RIP. Changed the world and your country. Impressive for one man.
  24. Honestly mate the people who drive zed's are just idiots here. I've seen many many people waved, flashed etc etc. No one did it back. Even saw a guy at the petrol station he just gave me a weird look as I wasn't driving my 350. Another guy I was in the same car park as him and tried talking to him, He just walked away whilst speaking to him. Fair enough.
