  1. I do have everything off. Sometimes the belt will stop squealing but then I turn on my lights and or stereo and it will drop back to 12v and squeal for a while longer before stopping and jumping back up to 14.4v.
  2. 10mins? My under tray is held on with only cable ties. 1 hour minimum. Need to drill them out actually. It was the other symptoms that worried me.
  3. Yes. But it actually did this before I fitted the AMS pulleys. I thought I would fit new belts when I fit the pulleys
  4. So my belt has started squeaking again. I assumed this happened as the belt stretched slightly or I didnt do it up tight enough. But its really skreechy and horrible and usually happens for about 1 minute when I start the car. Now the thing that makes me think it might be something else is that the voltage gauge will only show 12v. Once it stops squeaking it goes back to 14ishv. It did it when I was on my way home randomly aswell which was embarrassing. Sometimes if I have my music on and I come to traffic lights it will do it now and again aswell. So loose belt or something else? Cheers as usual

    That car is quite well specced. But Rs rare ecu-185bhp. I doubt that personally. It's pretty cheap considering too. Belt changes are easier in cups too.

  12. Exhausts can come in different designs. Some are very loud. Some are the same or a little bit louder than OEM. You don't have to have super noisy or quiet because it's custom it can be any volume you want it to be. E.g. A mate of mine had an x5 4.8. He got a custom one made and specified for it to be not much louder but much deeper. Whats the point in making a car like that noisy? It shouts chav. He does have a 350z in the garage for those duties remember Panda is the go anywhere at any time mule so you just want to get there in comfort and not get a headache from a droning exhaust. Looks good buddy, better than the original. With it being stainless it should survive the weather up there too

    I wouldnt say the 182 has nothing on the bottom end but the 172 4-1 manifold rather than the 182's 4-2-1 manifold produces better low down torque and the 182 is better high up. Out of cam ? Its not a vtec or anysort of system and dont say that on CS . The 5k kick is because of a flatspot. Get it remapped from RS tuning in leads or use a RStuner and it will smooth it out plus you get a rev limiter of 7750rpm. But if its an all out track car a 172 makes sense. But if you will drive it most days then a 182 none cup might be better as you get cruise control, climate control, xenons, auto headlights, auto window wipers, 6cd changer and other bits to make you drive more comfortable.

  15. IMO a M3 is very nice but I found it doesn't make you feel as special as the Z. S2000 are great. buy one for 5k and super/turbocharge it a 3.4 996 carrera 2? Db7? 850csi if in price

    Yes 10ps . The 182 has a few changes like the better manifold giving the extra power aswell as a nicer exhaust system with 2 tips. If you want the cheapest and fastest a mk2 ph1 will be the best but they are ugly. A 172 cup is the one with the lighter windows and no ac and so on. The 182s generally come FF and the cup was never as extreme IMO but its better day to day. Power is pretty hard to get from the F4R much like the vq but it revs hard. Drive one its addictive.
