  1. Narrow tyres FTW Better off buying an old micra for £200 than a set of winter tyres for a Zed Your lucky to get a micra for £200 TBH yes that could work but I'd still buy winter tyres. Plus insurance, road tax, mot etc etc and it all adds up. I think with another car you would be looking at 1-1.5k minimum.
  2. I used Continental winter contact 790's I think. My brother used falken ones which where cheaper but did the same job I suppose. Smaller tyres sizes are cheaper and narrower tyres are ment to work better.
  3. Maybe take it back to the garage or jack it up and get some pictures? Doesnt sound right
  4. Congrats. Sounds like its been tastefully modded and that always makes me think maintained well.
  5. Looks good. You must have some skills. I missed it too boo.
  6. Yea, it's impressive in that it's a wrap and it looks like paint, but it's not exactly defining new boundaries. We've had something else around for a while now that looks like paint. It's called paint. Can't imagine it was any cheaper than a paint job either. DB But in Dubai with sand storms surely a wrap makes more sense.
  7. Get a battery from euro car parts. There is no benifit in getting a Nissan battery you will only be wasting money. A 005L is the size you need I think.
  8. Looks like you had fun. Do you think it was an overly tight belt or a loose one that caused it?
  9. You sir, have too much money Nice gear though.
  10. Vdc will prove its an ST all other models got tcs.

    No sky for me

Don't worry they quoted my brothers wife £2500 to get insured on my 172. It's £450 with admiral
  12. ST which is too spec. That's if it's standard as I added brembos and now it's pretty much ST spec. Yes it will have LSD most likely.
  13. Winter tyres are a million miles better than summer tyres. People don't realise this until they use them. Lat year wasn't to bad but the year before was quite bad. Winter tyres ment I could always commute 16miles to work safely. They really bite into the snow and give you amazing grip in snow. They are very good when wet too. Yes sidewalls are super soft but winter tyres are made of a softer compound plus who is pushing it in the snow If I compare that to this year I took my winter tyres off in March but it snowed in April. That journey home was horrible butt clenching slow and if I has winter tyres it wouldn't have been too bad. I haven't used the 350 in the snow though. It's too low
  14. Could I ask where you guys got yours? Couldn't find anything on eBay really.
  15. When I was driving home last night it was super bright. It lit up half the road.
  16. Found this just thought it was awesome. There is a few other vids aswell. The boy has some mad skills.
  17. Awesome write up. I want to do this now.
  18. A red roof would look awesome IMO. would match my wheels. I already have black vinyl though but its still sitting in my room. hmm.
  19. Links? Sounds like a decent idea. Will an impact gun not blast it off?
  20. Well it was a loose belt But I think it was loose because the nut on the tensioner pulley needs changed. I used another nut but its bigger and I would prefer to put OEM size back on just in case. AC belt was still tight though. Hopefully the zman will answer my pms
