  1. £100 is expensive I suppose but then it's cheaper than a garage plus I can keep it. You can rent it but I never know when I get time to work on the car. It's just a fancy clamp really
  2. It was for 2 hours. Bloody hell! Just for a stamp they charge £100 an hour. This is why I see no point in taking older cars to Nissan they just rip you off silly.
  3. I like the one with the neatly cut away engine cover and the one with the big engine cover both running kinetix plenums. I also like the ones with the rb26 and ls*.
  4. What did you sand it with mate? I had some rubberised paint on my 172 handles and I kept rubbing but it kept balling up or blocking the sand paper.
  5. But then because the law doesnt do anything... you take the law into your own hands and smack that person about... then you run the risk of getting arrested. Not worth it in my opinion. This is coming from someone in Glasgow All in jest mate I would be the same though its well saying this or that but sometimes people can push too far and rage not anger takes over. Its not an excuse but it happens. Hope you get it sorted out, if you put some pictures up maybe we can give you better advice?
  6. The back box and tips looks really good
  7. Man that ebay advert is terrible, you got to tart it up and excite people.

  10. Cheap! Sometimes there is a bargain to be had
  11. Isnt that just vinyl? Give RTbiscuit a shout Hexis stuff is better
  12. Yes please. I like audio stuff but its too expensive and the urge to upgrade is strong so I keep away from it until I NEED something I loved my old RE but 2 most have been MAD! I cant really remember what the pros and cons of each boxes are but as you said because the z is a funny shape it limits your options, but saying that might be good for your creativity.
  13. I think it needs a 1 in front of the 7.
  14. Have you seen the ball joint? That only works on certain types plus it destroys them and doesn't press them in or out. Your better off with the fork with the ratchet attachment. Won't destroy the ball joint and takes most of then out. The one I described could be used on the upper control arm or on cars where the ball joint isn't pressed into the arm. I was thinking that Chris but I don't want to damage it as they are expensive I might just have to bite the bullet then. Cheers
  15. Adam Rayner he is a reviewer and writer on talk audio. you should join there as you know the important people
  16. Hi guys, Looking to change my lower ball joint soon. Now on my dad's merc it uses a similar suspension setup to mine. to press the ball joint out everyone uses this type of tool Is there anything else that anyone uses which would do the same job for cheaper? Its about £100 and it should work on my car and my dads but wanted to see if there was another way without the merc tax Cheers
