  1. I'm bored already. Anyone else. I just went back to bed ive had enough lol.
  2. Something a novice like me could do? Or will it still show that its been a d.i.y job? Not sure where to start, its only the small part of the fender that needs done, should i mask off a line to stop where the good part is, so i do as little as possible? its the prep that will make the world of difference IMO.
  3. Nice pics although I hope you don't take this the wrong way. When taking a photo of a roadster top down always. The shape of the roof is odd
  4. Sure they didn't murder anyone but the driver has unlawfully killed his 2 passengers and these idiots are very likely to kill other people going about their business. I have Zero sympathy with them, they knew the risks, they paid the ultimate penalty. Pete Yes but it wasn't the passengers fault so why did they deserve to die though?
  5. Why do you post short acronyms in a serious thread? What's the point. Your pretty good with words.
  6. They'd have heard the BOV going off and put 2 & 2 together to come up with 36. I just hope the lorry driver is okay. Feel sorry for the kids' friends and families, but ultimately they got what they deserved. Racing on the north circular FFS. Why did they? The where silly yes but unlucky also. What about the passengers in the car they had no say or control in this? No one deserves to die for racing.
  7. I wouldn't post a mobile number in a public forum if I was you. Also I'd pm him as he isn't on here much but he will get an email if you pm him.
  8. That's all you ever post. Waits for will to tell us how bumpy and slow it is in London.
  9. Also for the op. I get between 8.9-9.6km/l easy. That's a mix too. I know yours driving style, route, traffic etc etc will be different but that's terrible. A few things.though are you using super unleaded? Have you had the diff and gearbox oil changed? Is there any oil staining in your parking spot? Have you had the codes read or done the pedal dance? Usually it might be something silly like pre cat lambda sensor or maf. If you can try giving the maf a clean but only if you know how to do it. Like I said though pedal dance should point you in the right direction.
  10. True but the same crap ohh buy something else without knowing either way is old and silly.
  11. It's funny because your posts on most things are exactly what I'm thinking. Weird
  12. Biggest crap I've ever heard ever. Why didn't they make it 800bhp and make it do 3mpg then? Because a GT should be half decent on fuel. Surely that's all relative to each person though Dblock. I believe my 350Z is half decent on fuel for what it does but my MPG scares some of my work mates who are more used to much higher MPG from there diesels & petrol eco powered slower cars. Each to there own but I have to agree in part with Will that if MPG is such a concern for some drivers then maybe owning a 3.5litre V6 is not the answer. I agree. Imagine though your car had a few faults like the 1st lambda sensor and maf had gone funny. So now your car is getting terrible mpg. Is it helpful to say well don't buy a 350z for mpg. Even though it could be a problem with other things.
  13. Why did you way "crap" and "Dblock" lol. Look at even the Bentley continental gt. the v8 and w12. Not highly strung engines. Considering their big sizes not bad on fuel either. I run my 350z daily and manage 30mpg+. I could have got something much much faster but it would have been much worse on fuel making it not useful for a daily.

  15. Could be true as well. Maybe an advantage for a clueless owner if the car could tell you your running low on oil 500ml-1l before your min on the dipstick though? It's like that on mercs now a days. Unless you go into the hidden service menu the car won't tell you how much oil you have in the car. It will only say oil OK or add more oil!
  16. There is maybe a engineering advantage to not needing to have a manual dipstick maybe?
  17. No offensce but I don't think anyone compared 452's to mpss? The 452 is a great budget tyre yes but it's not a great tyre overall IMO Daryl didn't compare Falken and MPSS on a like for like basis. He clearly stated that the MPSS is afar superior tyre. Also since when we're Falken budget? They're mid-range, in both price and performance Sorry your right they are mid range for some people. But they are the bare minimum I'd put on a performance car personally. Also he said they where regarded as the best tyre on here which isn't true. Not fighting but it's the truth.

  19. Agreed. Also im sure you asked for your opinion on the vreds and I said they wear down way fast. So shouldn't have come as a shock.
  20. Sad to see such nice cars. I spotted a 350z!
  21. Good luck with the sale mate, you have got your priorities right and hopefully when its all good you can be back in one.
  22. They don't know these cars. They look up their spec sheet or autodata or whatever and go from that. They where recommending a certain gearbox oil for a car that needed gl4 but they said gl5 was better. Apparently shifts got sloppy and rubbish and the gl5 ate through some parts of the gearbox. Their fault maybe, maybe not. The people who took the advice where at fault IMO. So basically don't rely on anyone for info as they wont pay your bills if it breaks. Just research yourself and see whats good. If its really that rubbish you could get an oil analysis done but its going to cost money. I personally silkolene/fuchs stuff.
