An eco map with a less darty throttle would be perfect for motorway driving

I've drove a q7 in the snow. It was crap. It was on GSD3's but still the 4x4 just span all 4 wheels. Useless. I saw this mentality lots when it snowed heavy here oh I own a range/land rover I'll be ok but then they get stuck. Me in my winter tyre equipped driving past everyone. Stopping is a different matter and 4x4 doesnt help you at all. If anything the extra weight is a burden.

Ancient test. 5th gear recently did it agai showing on the right cars (cars where ecu knows to make use of better fuel) all made more power. Cocky said it was noticeable? I have personally found that with my 172 but makes no difference in my mums merc. I got slight better mpg and slight more power. It felt faster and more torquey.

Never used one. But Japspeeds exhausts are pretty badly made. An oil sump is a lot more important than an exhaust... Saying that it is cheap and you COULD have no problems. But if you do have a problem with it, it will be costly. Maybe check on the US site and see what they are running.

It's about £1.40 roughly so about 1.70€. So not that cheap. I always thought European countries pay less.

But they're not over here because you don't actually NEED them. Whatever did we do in years gone by when there were no such thing as winter tyres, and tyres (and cars, for that matter) were in general much worse? Oh yeah, we drove to the conditions and survived. You'll be telling me that we NEED all these stability and traction control devices in cars simply because the law says we have to have them next. Firstly Scotland is colder than south of England. It gets very cold here quite frequently. It's been icy 2 days this week already. I NEED them. 2 years ago range rovers, xc90's etc etc where getting stuck. -10c was average temps at night. If I didn't have winter tyres I wouldn't have got paid and my bills wouldn't have been paid. You don't NEED same tyres on the front and back but you agree it's safer. When it snowed on in March this year I has my summers back on. I didn't crash but it took me 3.5 hours to do 60milss. It was butt clenching and and the tyres where having a hard time. If I had winter tyres it would have been no biggy. If you don't live somewhere cold and you haven't tried winter tyres maybe you shouldnt dish out advice on them.

Just make one your self and upgrade the big 3

I'm saying the 320i isnt the one that needs bucket seats the most. You have a cool car and its good on fuel and looks awesome. Don't spoil it with some track day special seats.

Why? If you have leather seats then they will look naff. Bmw seats are awesome anyway. In an m3 or 335i yes. In a 320i no. Thats IMO though.

Ahh ok. So this is just a stepping stone. I just though why mess about with this why not just get massive on that stuff. I take it thats big?

Some of my mates are into all this gym malarky. I'm sure it was that website that got sued for lacing their products with steroids. But why mess around with this stuff why not just take steroids and get proper big?

Winter tyres rule for a few reasons. 1. Better cold weather performance 2. better wet weather performance ( no aquaplaning an sliding, braking etc ) 3.Better snow and ice performance. IMO its a small amount of money to spend for alot of safety. Most people saying just drive to the conditions live where the weather is mild all year round. Winter tyres are the LAW in countries for a reason.
