5k posts!! That means I'm on here far to much! Regarding preload I've read (as I plan to fit adjustable ones after all the poly bushing goes on) You are meant to nip them up when in the air and fully tighten when on ramps or on the ground.

I've heard preload can do this too?

As said it should be above 12v and when the alternator is running then over 14v. If the car keeps losing charge it will be time for a new battery.

I was watching the 2 ronnies xmas special the other day and really enjoyed it.I'm sure it was made in the 70's or 80's. I have watched some other old comedies which I liked aswell like some mothers do ave em which is epic! I personally did't like faulty towers but was wondering is there any more easily accessible comedies like the 2 ronnies as they are hilarious?

Lol them engines use gearbox mounts like service items.

I agree, I use this when working on my car. Lets you stay warm when its cold and it can get all messed up but just throw it in the wash and its all good.
