Also what if you spend close to 20k on a 996 turbo? Those things fairly cheaply can be modded to 600+bhp. They are a little silly though. Also ekona why would I produce a list. You seem annoyed that you got some stuff wrong. It's all good we learn something new everyday. Be happy.

Alright calm down. Do you work on your 911 and other peoples?
-
Also lol at a couple hundred quid for thr ims. It's about £800-£1500 depending on parts and who you use. Lastly brakes aren't too bad. If you get them from a steal your an idiot but from Eurocarparts get textar ones which is OEM spec and it's not that bad tbh.
-
Would you like to put money on that fact? Porsches part numbers are very simple of its starts with 993 it comes from a 993. 996 from a 996. 996 parts can be used on the 986 also etc. look up the parts catalogue. Also no one uses design 911 unless they are a chump with too much money.

Firstly you will get the standard responses ohhh a 996 old 911 thats gonna cost you. I'm sorry to break it to these people (like they ever listen) but no it ain't. Typically Porsche/German/Vag efficiency means thats parts are used from super old cars and get updated all the time so there are lots of parts around and they are cheap. E.g. lets say a part you need, unlike a normal car where you go straight to dealer or ebay with Porsche check out their exploded diahgrams and check which part number you need. Phone Porsche up for parts as they aren't that bad then there is specialised traders. Imagine like 20 zmanalexs for Porshce and ebay and america and ebay.de and for any consumables Euro car parts. Brake discs, pads etc aslong as you get the right manufacturer its OEM spec! I was also actually wanting a 911 but really a c2 spec didn't seem to jump out at me. But the 2000 onwards I think got more powerful and better engines. C4's have 4 wheel drive. I think they had some problems with the IMS or RMS or something too and the IMS fix is a good bit to put right about £1k IF you have it. I haven't drove one but my brother drove a c4s ages ago when they where new. He said it was nice but prefers his 986. Also fuel and running costs aren't that bad. The 911 is a great daily that won't cost you much. My brothers 986 3.2s is on 160k miles and counting. He wants to do 200k before he sells its, but who will buy one with 200k miles on it . The Porsches in general will shrug off 100k miles and still drive like new if taken care of. Exhaust sound is funny but you get used to it and can be nice. Great cruiser and it's a 911 so a great car. Also you don't need to be all sensitive with it as working on a Porsche is easier than working on most cars bar Mercedes. Very logically made and easy to swap out parts if needed and as above parts are easy to come by.

Yes, Spain isn't to keen on the idea, they think it'll spark independence calls and maybe more violence from several separatist movements within Spain. Whatever, Scotland will enter The E.U on the current member states terms, not on their own, same for any new E.U country really. Pete That's at least a start, at least we'll have a representative to negotiate fishing rights, undeniable energy wealth and a few other things that is a beginning of a negotiation, at present, we have no representation other than Rupert and Rodders from Hertfordshire Thats my point. A few posts back I said Scotland was one of the leaders in wind and green power technology. Apparently we don't even have a representative at that big meet in Copenhagen.

Liked and quoted for the truth.

I like Alex salmond and so do many many other Scots.

How can you not be bothered?

Is that you on changing your mind slightly Neil? All political parties are liars. If you think the snp are lying but the rest aren't then I think you might be shocked lol. Just trust the one you trust the most and for me it's snp ad I've said they have done so much good stuff IMO. Forget the independence thing they have done so much good stuff for Scotland and if you like them or not credits due where credits due. If we did get independence then you would need to apply for a Scottish Passport. How cool is that! Also I think you guys are being completely and utterly unfair to 16 year olds. I used to know shed tons about politics when I was that age (when I got older I realised they are all liars!) Schools will educate and debate for both sides. If we let some guy who has an iq of 12 or someone voting whatever their mates are voting why not let educated 16 years vote after all it's their future and mess if it goes wrong.

Also why will england not let Scotland keep the pound. If we will do so rubbish why are the english government trying to make it hard for us? It's like they want to keep us together as we are good for them hmmm. Massive, massive impact. Hence my comment about people trying to bait other earlier. It's funny since me and my brother want independance, my dad doesn't lol. We can argue the points and generally what happens is that it will be agreed I have fantastic points and IF and ONLY IF it happens the way they say it will Scotland will be the best place evar! But there is alot of uncertainty. What if this or what if that. What if nothing happens and that can be scary to some people. I honestly think its the next logical step for Scotland. E.g. look at the way the parties bar SNP tried to get votes. That typically american/english slag of this fear mongering way. Didn't work the Scottish are too clever for that and SNP whooped butt. I don't think anyone can deny if it did go the way they say it will then it would be awesome! SNP has done alot of things they said they would here so I trust them, well more than the rest of them.

Come on people don't get it locked... Thats my job.

Canada has a population of 35 million, Australia 23 million and Switzerland is one of the most expensive countries in the world to live in. I would compare Scotland more to The Republic of Ireland or Wales really. Pete I was not on about population I was talking about how they keep the good people.

Wow, see I'm always skeptical as sometimes you will get the odd person who just hates the english and will say stuff like that. I can't beleive no one kicked up a stink? They did - Scottish fisherman kicked up at the time about their fishing boundaries and an e-petition was initiated. I don't know how much it was in the media though. Scary, as long as they don't tell us or the news which why would they I wouldn't know that the water outside isn't Scottish. So the nay sayers disagree with the following points? I imagine that if tax was lowered money would come to Scotland. 16 Green Wind Turbines a Day ..That's 5840 a year so over 10 years you will have most of Scotland covered in Green Wind Turbines... Well yes Scotland is a world leader in wind technology?

A couple more years the english parliament will take the oil and then Scotland will have no chance at independance.

I can. Don't worry. But some mods can't anyway off topic. I honestly think Scotland in its thinking is ahead of england and needs a government that can support that. Also the SNP kicked butt in the elections and have a majority don't they by nearly double? The SNP have been great IMO and are really going strength to strength. If england says we have so much to lose and they would be better off why would they care if we left or not? We have oppisite problems of england. We want educated rich people to come here. We have a small population. We could be like australia, Canada or Switzerland in the criteria to get in.

I thought titanium is the colour? Good mpg really like the 370.

wow and I got a warning for baiting apparently.

What about this I don't know if this is true or not? http://www.oilofscotland.org/scotlands_stolen_sea.html

I have manifolds, they are meant to make good power but are expensive to install. I changed my exhaust and Y pipe at the same time but it is meant to make a difference.

Bank of England is different to RBS. You can't get an account to pay your sky bill with Boe Plus what about northern rock or the rest of them? RBS is owned by shareholders and run by management not Scotland.
