  1. I must be the only person that never had problems with the Bose. It worked a treat before I swapped it out. It now lives in a box in the garage. So does mine, are they worth anything?
  2. Lots of companies make a module, so all the steering controls work. no problem...

    P1 Done.

Hi All, Well, had the P1 done at Evans Halshaw Leeds. They did it while I waited 2 Hours +, but I had nowhere to go, So I sat and watched a movie on my iPhone (Lesbian Vampire Killers) Very funny. Sorry... moving on. Service price agreed beforehand at £110 and I provided the Oil (Opie). All sorted no problem and the team was really helpful and kept checking I was ok. Dealt with Carl the Service Manager who seems like a good bloke. I hate howeveres, but here's the one for this post. However... I made the mistake of letting them wash my Z. It's ok there was no damage, but it looked like it had been washed by a blind gibbon on crack....using a cheese grater. **** ! Took it home and sorted it straight away to make sure. So.. there we have it. the Servicing was ok, but the wash muppet is to be avoided...

  16. Hi, Just spoken to Tim at Opie today to my my stuff for 1st service. Great help and a discount for forum club members. Nuff sed.
  17. That fills me with dread.
  18. Hi All, My first year with My Z is nearly up and 2 events loom. Both could turn into a robbery. 1. Tax £400+ (this is robbery buy any name) 2. 1st service. (Possible robbery or not) Done a bit of negotiation and got this down to £110 and I supply my own oil. This is with Evans Halshaw in Leeds. They have assured me the have a couple of Z specialists and will put 1 of them on it. I have given them and ultimatum, that if they **** this up, they will not see my Z again. I take it there's not much involved in this 1st service. My Z has done 8200 miles and had an oil and filter change at 4000 for my own piece of mind. So.. what are your thoughts on this ? 1. Evans Halshaw.... and... 2. The cost of the service. The tax is a no win. Like a kick in the jewels. (Sickening and painful) Thanks.
  19. Hi, 44, 1st year of ownwership from new. All pk apart from my near death experience in the snow.
  20. Hi All, Been away a bit... First time in a week that I've moved the Z. After a near death experience ( For both me and my pride and joy). Got half way to work, 12 miles from home and had to turn back. Turned off TC and all hell broke loose, then couldn't turn it back on. (Lots of dash warning lights (Massive Stress) Parked it up for 5 mins to recover my nerve. Turned her back on and all seems fine. So... turned around and... Set off for home programed sat nav A roads only. 3 yes 3 hours later (11 miles) I'm coming down a slight hill, 1 mile from home, 2nd gear engine revs matched 20 mph and then without warning the rear broke free. I went for about 100 metres as a total passenger. Many corrections on the way. All I could see was my biggest ever outlay for a car going into the ditch. During this time, as my life and wallet flashed before my eyes the Z kept accellerating like a rocket powered ditch finder. I went between 2 oncoming cars on the wrong side of the road as though I'd planned it (I didn't honest). Then a total miracle, she straightened up and it was all over. I didn't hit so much as a yellow line. Don't know how we did it. I think she did it on her own cos nothing I was doing helped. Got home, parked up and there she stayed.... And the moral of this story is ! If it's deep and crisp and even don't go near yer Z
  21. Hi, Merry Christmas to all and hope to see you all in 2010. Had fun and risked my life in the snow, in my orange rocket powered ditch finder over the last week. (Scary, but necessary) Still ere and Z intact, so result. Best wishes.
