  1. Hi, I agree fit the above parts apart from the headers , totally waste of time I feel the stock headers work very very well we find especially when going S/C'ed , but we would supply a tuner S/C kit , this comes without any management or fuelling additions. We then fit a return fuel system uprated pump , modify the fuel pump cradle , fit some Larger flowing injectors and remap the stock ECU. Worls so much better than the way HKS try to tune the fuel/igntion system. If you email me at mark@abbeymotorsport.co.uk I will send you a quote. Mark
  2. If the Buddy club fit's onto a Stock Y pipe then you can fit a set of ART's De-cats ( will help with the raspy noise) and a XYZ with a de-cat. As you say if the car "wont" pass the MOT you can fit a race cat to the XYZ Y pipe. I dont have stock of the Motordyne Y pipes but should have a delivery date this week for our shipment. To supply ART's, Y pipe with de-cats , fit the parts and dyno tune; £1475-00 inc vat ( Motordyne stuff is discounted) It maybe loud thou , your been warned.
  3. It wont creat a hot spot as the rad behind the crash bar doesnt get much air thats why we fit the oil cooler thereand deflect the air up to it. I would of angled the oil cooler to make the making of the air deflector easier we find, buy it looks far better than before thou Steve.
  4. If you go the whole deal , Fit Motordyne ART de-cats Y pipe with race cat and HKS system and remap, we see nearly 40 bhp gain , these cars go from a stock 280bhp hub to 315/320bhp hub , they fly with a few tweaks. Sick Boy, We can supply & fit the HKS super sound master system and supply and fit HKS pane filter kit and remap your car for £2149-02 inc vat. The HKS exhaust on its own is £1696-20 inc vat. Up rev reflash is £400-20 inc vat. HKS filter kit is £50-82 inc vat Will add some dyno sheets to this thread today sometime.
  5. I can say HKS super sound master exhaust/air filter elements and a Uprev remap works real well. We find this will give the car 20bhp and 20lb/ft.and with even give you more fuel econom!. I will sort a price out tomorrow.
  6. Jez, I think it is a Consult job, but you need to make sure you have ther steering wheel in the correct orientation. The wire needs to be centralised. Did you remove the steering column UJ? Very easy to break the wire if the steering wheel has been spun around 1 turn either way. Mark
  7. Dont have a car here with our kit fitted but it isnt hard to make up and fit nicely. Mark
  8. Never seen a gain on the dyno , the airflow is to quick over the throttle body reducing the temperature of the TB will make no difference. Mark sorry to hijack the thread Jez
  9. Has it got a CEL on? if not I would say the cats need to be a little warmer? Can you scan and post up the failure ticket?
  10. No this wont work the car will need holding at 4000rpm prior to doing the test. Even 5 mins turned off will let the cat cool off to much. Mark
  11. Steve, I am with Alex on the mounting it will cause the core to split and leak if you dont suspend it from both ends, also where you have mounted it will cause the car to run hotter coolant temps due to you stopping air flowing through the radiator. We fit the oil cooler up behind the crash bar and make a small deflector to divert the air into the cooler , this stops interfering with airflow to the radiator. Mark
  12. Just make sure the cat are warmed up properly , we have had trouble when MOT testers dont pre-warm the cat properly. As the single cat is further back it does take longer to get up to temperature. Yes we carry Berks de-cats and Motordyne ART de-cats on the shelf. Mark
  13. Just go to RS tuning in Leeds , I have never seen a chip upgrade give anything like the BHP gain quoted on a 350Z, and the last car that we saw that was "chipped" had a SLD fitted to de-limit it..... Mark
  14. We have now found a good rear Banana arm uprated rear bush kit , it is a rose jointed bush that isnt noisy when fitted. We have found these make the cars much more precise when on the brakes real hard and if your a track day warrior the car your find will give better feedback through the steering wheel. We can supply these as a bush kit for you to fit to your own arms £169-32 inc vat + shipping Or we can do you an exchange deal, we carry a set of good straight arms fitted with the new bushes. £241-32 inc vat + shipping but I will need to take a £200-00 deposit until I have checked your arms arent bent or have play in the outer ball joint , I will then refund the deposit. We already have a pair of arms ready to be shipped and carry bush kits ready to be shipped. They go real well with our uprated roll bar links; viewtopic.php?f=114&t=44013&p=648964#p648964
  15. Chilli red is the best.......with a little carbon thou.

  17. Hi , JDM model car nice, I like the look of the HKS 3037s turbo kit , they have stopped making the kit thou , there is a few kit left in the UK and a few in Japan. good for 500bhp with a few internal mods. Enjoy your car thou. Mark
  18. coolio 1000bhp I feel with the right turbo,s and fuel will be easy, looking forward to seeing the final figures.
  19. what side of the car is the ball joint from? I have some S/H front uprights for sale?
  20. try moving your seat forward a notch or 2. leather seat onto plastic trim type of noise?
  21. Sockets are called Flank drive sockets , It used to be Snap On that only made them but I am now sure a lot of tool makers do the same idea. The work by putting pressure on the centre of the sides of the nut and not on the corners.
  22. Yes still in stock , yes the stock strut brace will still fit without any troubles.
  23. Are your cars both UK? Uk and JDM wiring are dofferent we have found. Post some pictures up please , cant really work out what you are talking about re connectors. To sort these problems we really need a Consult Nissan diagnostic machine thou.
  24. Shows you what people know doesn't it or what they read on car forums!!!!!, stock injecotrs are good for around 350/360bhp.
