  1. Peter, do you want me to post up the dyno numbers? it is FAST. Mark
  2. Under the lower plenum , not a nice job to get to. remove upper and lower plenum and manifold to get to the knock sensor. If the motor is out you can get to the sensor without stripping all the stuff of but you wont be able to torque the knock senor retaining bolt without removing all the above parts. Whats the problem with the car?
  3. I disagree, a remap on a stock car will give bhp/torque gain through out the rev range as well as improved throttle response.
  4. I doubt the -10 Garret's will make 100bhp more than the old 2530's Neil.
  5. Bobby, PM me your reg number please. Mark
  6. I am back from my holiday, The engine has to be raised due to the Supercharger touching the roll bar , this will happen on both LHD and RHD cars, it is not due to the kit being for a LHD car. A DE/REV UP strut brace is totally different to a HR strut brace , the DE/REV UP strut brace will not fit on a HR engined car.
  7. Hi, I am away on holiday, I am back on the 13th December, if you email me mark@abbeymotorsport I will get a quote out to you ASAP
  8. Peter I am in the US at the moment, I will see what is in stock @ my friends tuning shop. KevT I will speak to you when I am back re the 370 tuning. Mark
  9. Col, they do work and if they didnt we wouldn't advise to fit them. We sold a load over the few years we have been tuning the Zed's but they change the way the motor breaths so they do need a remap to make them work properly. We change the fueling map quite drastically after fitting a plenum spacers. Mark
  10. Hi, we are on the Surrey/Kent border. Preety welll known on this forum. Full Nissan Diagnostics in house (same as Nissan main dealer) Nissan trained technician. Any questions ask away. Mark
  11. rear strut brace cover isnt mint , I have the A pillars trims thou , £20-00 + shipping. Mark
  12. I have a pair for sale from a 54 coupe in VGC email me on mark@abbeymotorsport.co.uk
  13. I seem to have collected a huge amount of 350Z plastic trims parts/head linings ( 2 car sets minus door cards) and a set of early 350Z door cards. No seats thou I am afraid. Just to make a few things more clear , no dash parts , only early pre 06moth 2006 door trims, all plastic trims parts full boot kit rear strut brace covers, rear glove box trims x 2 , boot carpet , head lining, mint carpet, rear boot lid privacy cover (when you shut the boot closes off the rear part of the boot) Does anyone want any of these parts before I stick them on ebay as a job lot? Send me a email to mark@abbeymotorsport.co.uk with refrence to any trim items please. We can take payment vis paypal and ship the items out to you as well. The only part that wont be easily shippable will be the rear glove box plastic parts these will need to be picked up I am afraid. Mark
  14. Colin, the tuned car did have HKS panel filters fitted. It would be good to run a stillen air in take kit with a HKS system/Stillen exhaust but it is a major job to swap around. The BHP you are quoting are Manual cars , the dyno plot was an Auto so I thought it was good to show people what these car gain with a little work , the dyno plot doesnt show the other gains we find with the Uprev remap , the throttle response and the gearbox shift quality are enhanced a lot from a stock car, we tweak the throttle maps and use the multi map function to allow 5 different throttle maps to be uploaded so you can chosse you own throttle repsonse. I am not trying to say the HKS is better than the Stillen or anything likr that, here just showing what gains we can get from these excellent car just by finishing the tunes properly like dotting the i@s and crossing the T's.
  15. Chris that will be good to allow us to compare more stuff. Weddings , yep they empty your pockets pretty quickly. I got married just over a week ago so my pockets are very bare.....
  16. Yes a few bhp down top end , but the HFC,s add a big gain torque through the rev range , and the mid range torque is more usable than a few bhp at the top end I feel. Mark
  17. The strange line at the bottom of the run was as you say the way the car loads up on the dyno. The cars do like a retune especially after breathing parts have been bolted on. The stock map is pretty bad in my opinon.
  18. Attached is a dyno plot of a totally stock AUTO 370Z agaisnt a AUTO 370Z fitted with Berks HFC's/Miltek Y pipe/HKS panel filters and a HKS super sound master exhaust system and a Uprev Remap; a 25bhp gain at the rear hubs and a 25lb/ft gain in torque across the rev range. We also remap the throttle maps and tweak the max torque allowance map to make the cars shift gear faster and be a little more agressive with the throttle response. Mark
  19. These guys are talking about DE motors those Wasso.
  20. Now we can do the super deal on the HFC,s includig fitting and a Uprev , I imagine the Stock Y pipe,Berks HFC,s would be a better gain per pound spent. But the De-cat,XYZ Y pipe and race cat and Uprev would give more BHP/Torque but be more expensive. Mark
  21. Does sound like a fuel damper but these are normally only give a problem when hot I thought.
  22. Timing chain tensioner slow when the oil is cold in the morning; If you start the car when warm I presume it is all okay? Mark
  23. Stock 350Z run 2 speed fans they have 4 wires that go to the fan; The Stock ECU control these fans not a thermostatic switch. Are you trying to change the fans as the stock fans have failed?
  24. Sounds more like heat soak issues to me to be honest, this is an issue with CAI on the 350zeds used in built up area's , you never get enough air flow over the filters to cool the air intake temperature back down. But the HR motor always run very rich stock , dont understand why Nissan tuned them this way to be honest, maybe to keep the Cats warm and working. Stock airboxes work fine in my eyes .
