  1. Abbey Motorsport and Horsham Developments have both been doing Development work for Syvecs to get the S6 up and running on the DE engined 350Z for a month or so, I am to the point that I am happy to sell a plug and play kit for the DE N/A , been playing with the traction control and I thought you guys would like to see the traction control working. The DE car is the only car that we have up and running at the moment I hope to have a HR car sorted in a month or so , this will require a S8 or a S6 with another box as the cars with dual cam control and dual throttle's has to many input/outputs for the basic S6. Running the Syvecs S6 ECU in our development 350Z , mapping is nearly 100% finished for a totally stock car but I have been playing with the traction control set up , which people that own a 350Z is pretty dire on a totally stock 350Z . The Syvecs traction is very good but requires a lot of setting up, it can have multiple traction control maps for variable conditions. The damp morning this allows me to play with the car and the traction control. You can see the rear wheels spin up in relation tot he front wheels (we use a single front wheel speed for calibration of the traction control. With the traction set up the car is pretty awesome even in damp cold conditions, hope to have it on a F/I car very soon which will help the power delivery even more. Any one running F/I on a DE car needs traction control that the Syvecs S6 offers it is so good. I will have a cost for a Syvecs S6 install very soon.
  2. We wont be charging for the dyno runs Clown , they will be free of charge.
  3. Sorry for the the slow reply; Dyno runs will be Free of Charge ( we will carry out 4 to 6 runs) Afraid not to tune a car take's a minimum of an hour but sometime up to 2+ hours to tune the whole map so I am afraid I cant tune any car on the dyno day but your willing to book the car in for the Uprev ti be carried out. Marmite should be available thou........ Will have more details up for you guys very soon.
  4. The stock traction control on the Zeds isnt very good , shuts the throttle fully which is dangerous sometimes , been spending time with the Syvecs S6 Traction on my own Zed which is awesome just misfires enough to reduce enough power to stop the car going too sideways , traction is mapped against sideways G loading, more G reading more traction control.
  5. S/C provides boost in relation to RPM not load like a turbo. So at lower RPM the boost will always be lower.
  6. we run run 8kg front 6 kg rear on our road car upgrades.
  7. 30mm is lot on a Zed, to much if you ask me to be honest. It will destroy the roll centres the Zed runs pretty low re it arm angles as stock , we say 15/20mm max. Front cambers are adjustable stock but running around 15mm is about right add's a little camber to the front cambers to aid turn in, rear cambers to get spot on will require a camber/tracking adjuster kit thou. All the kits in question will work well just be carefully with the spring rate's thou as I have mentioned before.

  9. So I have been thinking about the last Saturday in 24th November, there was a list of people that wanted to run , if someone can paste this onto this thread then I cant work out a plan We are going to open this up into a open day for your guys on here , so we will lay some nibbles on and hot drinks , we will have some cars on display in the workshop for everyone to have a look around. The dyno runs if it is just the people on the list will be done by 1pm ish but I will run other car if they want to run until around 3pm on the day. I will have some more details up on here in 2 to 3 days. Added this to the calendar, if people are interested in attending then please RSVP on it so we can see who is thinking of coming - more than just who wants to dyno. http://www.350z-uk.c...abbey-open-day/
  10. KW 's, BC , HSD and Meister's are all pretty good damper kits , just make the right choice of springs , if your not going to lower the car much i.e max 15mm you wont need any alignment correction kits the car will 4 wheel alignment all okay , this is what we try to say to our customers don't lower the car to much and your angles will stay in tolerance. If your going to upgrade bushes Super pro's work very well and keep the car usable on the road , changing to rose jointed/uniballed links will make the car very noisy we have found. Have a look at our facebook page your see us setting up a race 350Zed ready for testing this Friday https://www.facebook.com/AbbeyMotorsportUK Any questions ask away
  11. Hi, welcome to the forum, lot of knowledge on here. The clutch getting heavy is a common problem with the Zeds , but normally they last a long time even after getting heavy. Any questions ask away.
  12. nice flat torque curve when the gas in on, bet that is a little fast.....
  13. Forgive me as I am answering from my BlackBerry. GT35 will run around 400bhp @ 5/6psi boost but you will need to tune the torque out of the motor. We have run stock DE's to 450 hub bhp with S/C not turbo. But with carefully cam control calibration and boost control (don't just retard the ignition timing to reduce BHP) you be able to run 400bhp and 360lb/ft torque without any worries. Stock ECU will run this okay very easily you need a Uprev AFM and we would prefer to run a fuel return system with larger injectors. Any questions I am happy to answer as I feel Abbey have have a lot of experience tuning the stock 350z motors. We tuned a APS twin turbocar last week stock motor remove the unichip and tuned the stock ECU with Uprev running o.6 bar boost we ended up with 395 hub bhp and 360lb/ft torque @ 5000 rpm which we are perfectly happy with on a stock motor.
  14. Presume that's a resonatted system? will be good to hear that under load.
  15. 330bhp is a quoted flywhel bhp measured on a engine dyno with the motor out of the car. Our dyno read @ the hubs so we could say 330bhp -292 hub bhp = 38bhp loss from hub to flywheel. 38 + 310 hub BHP (Milltek + Uprev remap)= 348 flywheel BHP. hope this helps.
  16. Okay back on the dyno again this morning tuned the stock ECU with the Uprev software , gained a few more Hub BHP and torque leaned the fueling out gain throttle response as well. Car drives real nice very torque sounds lovely under load and is lovely cruising on the motorway. When you lay the stock car dyno plots over the Tuned Milltek the car gain 20bhp which is pretty good for a NA car still running stock Cats and stock air box any questions ask away.

  18. Hi, So do you want a stock clutch or uprated? If your using the car on the road all the time the single piece flywheel will make the gearbox chatter at isle and low speed , some people dont like this. I will quote on here for people to see so maybe a little transparency from other people would be good.
  19. 370Z back on the dyno still with stock map in ECU , car running very rich. Your see i carried out 3 runs with the stock system and 3 runs with the Milltek system to get a good base setting for both systems. A gain of 12 bhp at the hubs and 7 lb/ft i pretty good for a N/A car I am sure with a tickle of the stock ECU with Uprev will gain some more bhp and torque. Link to video Will have a tuned dyno plot early tomorrow I hope.

  21. Cars been on dyno in stock condition , Milltek being fitted @ the moment; back on the dyno soon.

  23. Syvecs/Uprev for tuning Zeds!!!!!!

  24. We have a car and the Cat back 370Z Milltek system on site so we can do some back to back testing and tuning to get the best from the new Milltek system. We will also video the car while on the dyno to give everyone an idea of how the system sounds under full load and cruising , it will be recorded in our dyno room. Hope to have all the dyno work carried out in the next 2 days.
