I payed £2100 last year! 23 had her 2.5 years and cant ever emagine life without her, sad i know lol im with admiral with the 350z and elephant with my other car. i crashed my old mini cooper s in march 2009 and it had 5000 quid worth of damage to it and never came bk the same after repairs. so i sold it and bought the zed. i was only 1290, i was suprised as it the 300bhp with full nismo works done to it. well chuffed i was with elephant the year before and paid £1800 (10 month policy) but they wouldn't cover any of my mods if they were damaged at all, I also have the factory fitted nismo kit amongst other things lol ile have to do some ringing about i think im in a really low crime area... its a very small village so that makes it cheaper

    tyre pressures.

Sorry seems like I started a war. I think it's everyones own experiences that makes they're opinion on mixed Tyres. Obviously the same Tyres would be advantageous there is no doubt about this. But I'm still unable to distinguish the difference between tread depth on rear wearing in turn the traction is reduced and a different tyre on rear with differen grip. No matter what the situation there's still going to be different grip levels so in turn it's upto the driver to understand they're car and not drive outside the cars capabilities.
  6. any pics yet matey? details on the zed?

    tyre pressures.

Sorry it's 35mm profile all round. Getting my two cars mixed up. See the two levels of grip ppl are talking about. That happens when your back Tyres wear quicker than your front. The back will have less grip when the tread wears. So it's not really justified saying two levels of grip is bad. Some 350z's come with 18's on front and 19's on rear???

  21. i had to put my toe under it and lift it. its feels as though no matter what gear your in if you high rev and allow the clutch to rise, theres hardly any pressure against your foot.
  22. has anyone experienced the clutch sticking to the floor when pulling away at a higher rev. its an 2006 model with 20000 miles on clock, it happened when i got the car at 16000 miles about 8 months ago. nissan didnt want to know and said i'd be liable for charges to inspect if no fault was found. the car is still under warranty as bought from a nissan dealership. cheers
  23. happy birthday stew, all the best
