Cheers chris the cars a weekend car so it's generally country road driving I do so it should be ok but I'll keep an eye on it and make sure they're keeping the discs coated
i followed the guide that alex posted up(stoptech), no squeeking or funny noises, brakes working fantastic. i travelled a fair distance doing some braking at speeds between 30 and 50 slowing to 10, and then started playing at faster speeds.
Just fitted my new pads (ebc yellowstuff) , delivered promptly from mitz! Just been out bedding them in and I feel ill! Ive now realised that before, i actually never had any brakes on my car and the stopping power i now have is second to none. I feel as though I have sea sickness!
First class service from CS as always! Cheers mate!
I have it mate. Never had issues but with the price compared to a gearbox it's definately worth the cash. As it's purchased before the Nissan warranty expires, it's actually a real Nissan warranty compared to some which offer 3rd party warranty's which are useless
Alex, what's the difference between copa slip and copper grease? I'm sorry I don't know but I'm just about to fit new pads and was wondering what's the best to use?
Remove pads and copper grease the back of the pads and shims where it meets the pistons on the caliper. Mines do this every 6-8 months
Edit: horrendous iphone spelling error corrected
Haven't yet, I seem to be pestering him alot these days so don't wanna hassle him. I'll maybe from him a pm but I feel like I'm annoying him with so many questions lol I'm sure he will have something laying around. I'm looking at the cheaper end of the Market as I'm a bit skit and wanting something temporary until I save up for a decent one.
Hi all!
I'm just posting up to see if anyoe has an aftermarket y pipe for sale, whether it's new or used I don't mind as long as the price is right.
Cheers
I used to train hard but stopped about a year ago and it all went to shut. I Used to do alot of weight training and then ventured to Thai boxing and onto mma. I really need to get back into it. Using your technique seems very interesting and very much a discipline in itself. I would love to be able to overcome all the resistance your putting on your body, coming from a mma style training myself I can see what your trying to achieve where as other who don't won't understand. Good luck with it all mate and keep us updated.
I agree but the 100% throttle won't make a difference to the way you change gears. I do agree that the box won't hold up to abuse, I think the clutch will give up first. There is issues know about 1st to 2nd especially when cold.
