  2. How much did that set you back? Lots nd lots of £ £ £, but when you get to my age who cares, keep some for a rainy day nd spend the rest cos their could be something nasty around the corner. Lots of my mates and family gone, and others in trouble has taught me something. Everyone off on hol have a really great time. I think he was talking about his girlfriend from the Philippines
  3. Make sure you have a torque wrench for putting it back on. Over tightening can cause the plenum to crack etc.
  4. what year car? And which engine? its a 2.4 D5 Sport? Its a 2007. Mileage is currently around 80k on it. Got it with around 25k on it.
  5. We've had an XC90 for around 5 years and the only issue we've had is the power steering pump failed. The car is used for towing most weekends and has seen the usual stress a 4x4 would. Fantastic car, very comfy and smooth. It also returns pretty decent mpg used as an every day car, and it shifts when it has to.
  6. Hi Mick, Unfortunately the 85mm lens isn't really something i'm looking for. May I ask where you got the deal on the 24-70mm F2.8 lens? This would be something i'm interested in Cheers
  7. Thanks TS for the heads up on the FB group

  10. Hi Guys, This has been posted up on a few forums and is looking to be a major event. The event will be held at Kirkbride Airfield in Cumbria with full security and race organisation. I have posted a link to the straight liners webpage. http://www.straightl...t/racewars.html From the website- Racewars, a new event for the north of the UK and the ultimate grudge match. Bringing you a lifestyle Drag Racing event, go head to head against your mates and receive timing tickets for every run for those bragging rights in the pub. We also have a Massive Show and Shine competition with mega prizes, and if you are not into polishing then we also have the best Rat Car at the show. If creating smoke is your thing, try going in the burnout box, with prizes for the most smoke and the longest burnout. After the racing has finished for the day on Saturday, we will be hosting a party with licenced bar and DJ. For those who would like to spend the full weekend at the event, camping is available on Saturday night. Its £30 for spectator pass with camping for the weekend. Its £90 for Race pass for both days and camping. Would be good to get a group together to attend this as its looking to be a fun event. I've dropped this onto the Facebook group page. 1. 12. Hi Guys, I'm looking at upgrading from Canon kit lenses to something else. Before buying new I'm wondering if anybody's has any that they may have bought, for a hobby or career and no longer use, and may be willing to sell. If you have anything please post or PM me. Best Regards Neil
  13. ur having some amount of issues with your car recently!
  14. If your only wanting something to aid repair. Go for something like an all in one recovery shake and have one after training. If you're eating right you really shouldn't need to supplement although a little extra protein intake isn't bad. PHD do some good diet/fitness aimed shakes and they taste superb. Everybody and anybody who gyms it will always have a "broscience" about what to take and when you should take it. The best way to tone up is to lift weights, this will not make you "muscly" however it will aid toning. What I would say is keep yourself in high rep ranges of around 15-25 and lightweight. This will help with the fitness physique. Mass building ranges are generally 5 or 6 sets of 2-10 reps of very heavy weights.
  15. Garageband is really easy to use, I normally hook my boss pedal up but you don't really need to. You can just plug in, choose what amp you want ie fender, marshall, blackstar and soo on. Choose what pedal effects you want and then you can fiddle about with them till you get a decent sound. The general layout and workings are really simple and easy to pick up. My previous band just recently split up but do stand ins every now and then just until I find another band. The things I play vary massively. On the electric I tend to blast out a lot of metal, Killswitch engage, Avenged sevenfold, rise to remain and the like. Equally I play a lot of acoustic things from either Tommy Emmanuel or Andy Mckee. What about you? Im liking this thread! I am a keen drummer been playing for about 18 years and the guitar for about 6! I can see it now. Neil p on the keys, chris on guitar, me on drums...... just need a basist now. lol Neil can sing as well, never seen such a beast of guy listen to such gay music in my life Everybody loves a bit of mcfly and westlife
