  1. Wicked mate! Scary fast also!!
  2. He's still here and it would have been run on premium when he owned it
  3. Yeah, presumed that would be the place. It definitely wasn't in any of the cubby holes before. As I said before, its my first car, only do about 4k miles a year. lol I do less than 1k miles
  4. Theres a foam holder in the boot which holds the jack etc, it fits into that. You can't miss the shape, bit like a jigsaw. I can't believe you haven't checked ur nuts in 16 months though. I loosen all mine and re-torque every month when I do a full check of the car (thats when its not been at the track)

    Front Brembo Discs

If you're getting vibration this suggests that the runouts weren't checked, either that, or you could be leaving pad material on the disc if you are stopping and keeping your foot on the brake while they are still really hot.

    My new Nismo

Very nice! Maybe we'll get to see it at some meets this year?
  7. thats why people do it though
  8. On a side note, check YouTube for a series called pro photographer cheap camera challenge.
  9. That's very low indeed! My buddy's sold for 300 very quickly with 10k actuations
  10. you can download free apps/software for this pretty easily matey. 7D's a nice camera. I'm holding out to go full frame shortly as the limitations of the crop sensor are really starting to show, especially in low light conditions.
  11. The only thing that usually will fail is the shutter. OP, whats the shutter count on this?
  12. Decent camera, my buddy sold one on eBay within half an hour of posting last week for around 300 quid. Although the shutter count was only 10k actuations. What's the shutter count on this one?
  13. After the exhaust installation there's a good chance the car was running lean, the engine may be over fuelling to compensate. You really may have to go for a remap. Have you got an obd scanner so you can check your timing and AFR's?
  14. I understand what you're saying and he may not be using correct terminology however I doubt the car is detting from running lean. It will be over fuelling due to the ECU map adjusting to accommodate the new exhaust. My car over fuels on the nitrous and blows constant blue flames. Without nos it still bangs and flames from time to time. If the OP still has cats i'd say it's not normal and what he's referring to is just the exhaust choking when he lets off the juice and not an actual pop from fuel etc. the exhaust wil still be running in and getting "coked" up As with any modification to fuelling on exhausts a remap is always recommended to adjust the AFR's back within suitable parameters.
  15. Thats not the case, what you're thinking about is something different. What your are talking about is det which destroys 350z engines. Overfuelling causes this, unburnt fuel hits the exhaust and basically catches fire in the exhaust. You can do this by retarding timing also.
  16. I wasn't mate but a few of my mates had them. They were running maps with bigger turbos etc. I'll put the emphasise on "feel" quicker but in reality they aren't. Its all down to having a turbo against and an N/A engine. The torque on the V6 VQ is very flat across the range so it never really feels fast but when you look at the speedo you can be doing license losing speeds without ever leaving 3rd gear.
  17. If anybody has a Nismo exhaust they may part with I'd be willing to swap with cash your way. Any exhaust I'm looking to swap with should have a 3" diameter centre section or twin 2.5" true dual, preferably.
  18. A few of the guys over here done that with Defi gauges. Look really good.
  19. Night time would will probs be ok due to auto dimming function of the iPad. During the day in the sun I'm not sure. Although, Jim, you know we only get 1 or 2 days of sun every year
  20. From my research it has an oil temp gauge and not an oil pressure gauge........... bit daft IMO. Yeah really should be both and ditch the battery voltmeter.
