  1. as im doing this at the weekend i was wondering if anyone had any more detailed information such as torque settings of the bolts etc. A workshop manual guide or something of that nature?

im sure its probably simple, i just like to be prepared to save me screwing it up (no pun intended)

  2. Brave styling there from Jag. Not as "safe" as the XF which looked OK in the initial pics but great in the flesh. I have to say the pics don't do it for me but in the flesh it may have the presence to pull it off. Interior looks nice though.

As an aside, when you're selling high end, full size luxo-barges isn't your target market older blokes? I don't see many young dynamic types driving 7-series or S-class.

good point  hey im not marketing *shrug* i just prod at wires aimlessly :tumbleweed:

  3. Bah! you win then :p

i think the detailing will take the whole day and night lol. the car has never been done properly and ive never done a car properly. a right couple of virgins we are!

with the led's im leaving them till last so im not rushed. will do as many as i can in the time available. going to have half orange half white for a while

  4. thats a nice colour, shows the lines well. its such a cruiser, the miles dissapear in it and as im sure everybody else on here will be upset to know you will be doing double the MPG the z does :surrender:

  5. The XF S matey ?

if so, a brilliant choice! i raced one when it was a prototype in my focus st3 and it used me to wipe its arse :yahoo::lol::lol:

dont buy it in green though. what colour you ordered, say black...?

  6. Wow thats ugly. The interior is nice though.

Give me an XJ6 anyday :cloud9:

new XKR 5.0 supercharged :cloud9::cloud9: its very impressive and quite cheap in comparison to astons etc

just looked at the pics. dunno, the back looks kind of funny in them, hmm.

  7. lol. wots it like compared to the zed? u can pick one up for peanuts id love to have one just for a side project but everyone already thinks im mad with the time i spend on the zed lol

The zed is more fun tbh. the GTO has road presence you can muscle 4x4's out the way! its awesome. "comin through" :drive1:lol: , that one cost me £2250, drove 13500 miles in 6 months spent nothing on it and sold it for 1800 to a ford dealer. 500 quid for that aint bad

if i didnt have such a narrow driveway id buy another in a heartbeat as a play car. first class.

  8. My god i can finally breath out and talk to people about this bl***y thing now lol.

inside is really nice  i never had that much of a problem with the back tbh never noticed it being too bad, probably immune to it as ive sat staring at it for so long though

it is massive though :teeth: and OMG the engine is :drive1:yahoo:

  9. lovin the gto husky wot was that like to drive? i used to always want a gto, if i ever bought a project car that would be the one

and no hols for me so far...everyones too busy... oh well will just have to settle for a weekend at silverstone for the ferrari experience

    cheers

Picture driving over 2 tons of steel girder thats absolutley glued to the road, and could change lanes in the blink of an eye, defied the laws of physics that one... oh and the custom straight through exhaust was Genius  set car alarms off all the time.:yahoo: i drove past a funeral once, didnt go down well :surrender: i was trying really hard to be quiet *shrug*

  10. Spent all my money on the zed :thumbdown: so :byebye: holiday.

Although im thinking i may just do an extended stint home in scotland and get a load of windsurfing in, quite fancied finishing my RYA3 :bounce: and refreshing the beloved wake boarding, and go for a kayak trip...

Ohh f**k it, its no use, ill go on holiday!
