  1. Within ones home, one may feel the need to dangle ones janglies at any moment
  2. I do like the cold But it slows you down when you try to get stuff done And it makes it difficult to roam free in your new home
  3. I'm happy with my GT4, wouldn't go back LED diagnosis, I can't even remember which ones went wrong now.
  4. House with no heating is... Challenging. I haven't unpacked at all and I've been in for over a week. It's just too cold. I'll get a build thread up eventually. Quite a lot to write so I haven't got round to getting it up to date yet. Fingers crossed (having replaced most of the engine) all engine related future problems are sorted now.
  5. Hey guys, thought I'd wave a hello to old friends as a bit of a catch up. I've not forgotten you Still got my Celica GT4, bit of a restoration project so far but that's mostly done and I can now look at upgrading things. She's in having the engine pulled out at the moment, stripped and rebuilt. The reason for the strip is that the previous owners rebuild (which I never had any faith in) was pretty poor quality and she's been leaking around the head gasket. Also as the turbo was chewing a little bit of oil and needed a refurb, it made sense to get a hybrid turbo put in at the same time. Looking at probably ~100bhp increase after that. I bought her for £4k and have spent, at a complete guess, ~£3-4k fixing her up including the new turbo so far. Erm, what else. Bought a house, have no heating at the moment which is lovely and with the car in for work I'm walking *shudder* everywhere. So, from me to old friends and hope you guys are well
  6. Actually, yes. However they are packed in boes as I move house. once I get to that box I'll post up that they still exist
  7. Rest in piece Keith. Sorry for leading you round 3 laps of Stratford-upon-Avon that time. You will be missed.
  8. I'd never feel sorry for Paypal, think of how much money they hold and process daily that they get to play with. Even using the pay as gift option, the money skips through their accounts. The more money that goes through their accounts the better their business does.
  9. Well, i decided to just cancel the auction and sell it to a scrappy, shame really as it was an alright car But with 10 watchers (and I think all of them were mates) it was never going to make the £110 i got for scrap. Plus, I got to throw random car parts in the boot to get rid of them too
  10. I added some picture links at the bottom to maybe keep it somewhat within ebays rules. You can do what you like with it if you win It's not a bad car really, I'm just really fricken lazy and I thought this'd be funny ^_^
  11. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140896835571 I'm getting rid of this. It's a bit dark for a photo so i improvised.
  12. Seems, not, Mine are missing :'( I was pulling ya leg numpty I know
  13. Seems, not, Mine are missing :'( Do you want them back? It's been a while without them and it feels ok. If the withdraw kicks in I'll cry and dribble on the floor a bit so you know.
  14. The pain in the arse was the strip/test/recalibration. It's a lovely mod though, and I'll certainly be doing it again to any future cars I own. Got a little bit nostalgic seeing those epics Dave Glad you are still enjoying them.
  15. Agree with rich, has to be the success of marriage threads
  16. Open bonnet look on right hand side and you will see a black box with a big plastic tube coming out of it there are two clips on the top of the box, unlcip them wiggle the filter holder and then lift it upwards out of the housing use vaccum cleaner to suck up any leaves and crap in the bottom of the housing. swap filters put back in do clips back up
  17. Resistors aren't directional, they are just a resistance. Did this before the same way, looks good
  18. Ahh you see this was all part of my cunning plan Buy a cheaper car; well within my means to pay for repairs. Not to worry It was the previous owner, nob end.
