  1. Hey guys, I've had my Zed for a couple of months now and it's time the Bose stereo has to go. I've got the double din Kenwood DDX 6029 from my last car, but i need to get a PAC ROEM-NIS2 lead so it all works with the Bose speakers and sub. Where can i get one from?? Am i right in thinking this is all i'll need, or do i need another wiring loom as well? (i've read the sticky on what i need, but i think i'm confusing myself) I've got a roadster, so no need for steering wheel controls. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers
  2. You can buy a tyre pen from places like halfords
  3. Get on eBay quick. You can always get these on there for less than a fiver and mine arrived in a couple of days
  4. Only had 5 cars since i started driving. 18 - Mini Advantage (D Reg) - 998cc and was great - got it over 100mph and it only had 90mph on the clock!! 20 - Saxo VTR (R Reg) - 1st black one in the country 24 - Civic Type-R (52 Reg) - loved it! 28 - Subaru Impreza WRX (06 Reg) - Family car - well, it's a 4 door 31 - 350Z Roadster (55 Reg) - Always makes me smile when driving it
  5. That car looks awesome! I want it!

I want one too!! Weirdly enough, I was on the phone to the local Nissan dealer about an hour before reading this post about getting one. They had no idea what I was talking about! Rubbish!
  7. Unless you accidentally get someone pregnant!!! Don't want to be doing that either!!!!!
  8. Don't think i'm brave enough to fit the headunit myself, as i've never done it before and don't want to ruin my lovely new car. Take it that it was a yes to actually change the headunit though - regardless of who's doing it Anyone recommend a good reversing camera?
  9. Ok, so probably a stuipd question as i'm sure i know what the majority of the answers will be... but...... I've got a Kenwood DDX6029 Double din headunit sitting next to me as i speak - which i took out my Scooby when i sold it. I'm in 2 minds whether to fit it in my Zed or sell it and keep the standard Bose stereo. If i fit the screen, then i'm gonna get a reversing camera (are they any good?), if not, selling it would pay for reversing sensors. (i can park - honestly! but you can't see anything out the back of the roadster and think i got used to them on my last car). The main reason for changing the stereo would be so i can play my ipod again (connector also sitting in the box) Been quoted £250 to get it all fitted - that's the I.C.E. place supplying everything i'd need for the stereo (facia, connections for the Bose sub, and fitting reversing camera (me to supply)) Does that sound a lot or about right?
  10. I'm pretty new to the forum, so others on here may be able to help more than i can. Saying that, i've had performance cars for a number of years (Civic Type-R and a Scooby) and it pays to shop around. I don't ever bother with websites like confused.com anymore as they can never get anywhere close to what i actually pay for insurance. I still get quotes of over £3500!!! (um, no thanks, i'd rather pay my £530) Always found Direct Line and Admiral good in the past. Kwik Fit have always been rubbish for me price wise
  11. That sounds expensive in the 1st palce!?! have you got any other mods? i'm 31, FNC (most companies only count the 1st 5 years anyway), 6 points for speeding, no mods, and it's a roadster (more expensive to insure) - and i'm paying £530. Give Chris Knott Insurance a call - a lot of the guys on here seem to be with them.
  12. I have a spare one but it is for a Roadster. Do you have any pics?
  13. Nice photos Good to finally meet some fellow Zed owners. It's given me a few ideas to mull over regarding mods. Looking forward to Ace Cafe now!
  14. Saw a gorgeous Silver 350Z going anti-clockwise on the M25 just past the Bromley turn off about 1 ish today. Had a full bodykit / spoiler (sorry, don't know what type?) I was travelling the other direction in my black roadster. Anyone on here?
  15. hmmmm? at that price i would say yes, but i'm not confident enough to start modding stuff on my new car by myself
  16. How much £ are you looking for? And does anyone know if this will fit a roadster? Cheers
  17. Looking good! Trying to decide what to do to my black roadster. Think wheels is gonna be my 1st mod
