This is still for sale if anyone is interested or know's of anyone that's after one
-
How are they controlled then via the Engine's temperature ?
-
I'm also guilty to trying to drive through being tired.. After seeing this though i think i may think twice next time
-
Sorry it is a 350z should have said
-
Do you know where the Temperature switch/Fan switch is located on the engine ?
-
Took my old man's car down the garage for it's MOT last week and battery was pretty flat so left it running for a while when i realised it started to boil over, It's done this a couple of time's in the past aswel, It's fine when it's driving along and never goes above half way on the Temperature gauge but when it's sat idling it creeps up until it boils over. Anyone have/had the same problem before ? Thanks

This was posted on another Forum and thought i would share, Kind of a reminder of how dangerous trying to drive through tiredness can be There are picture's of his car after the accident on the link and on page 2 there are a couple of video's from inside (Nothing exactly Graphic) http://zilvia.net/f/off-topic-chat/3460 ... -will.html

Nice motor, they are nice and quick Car's dragging things....... Is this trend going to move from soft toys to next doors cat? Maybe, Especially if the Neighbours cat walks across your Body work
-
Have you never seen car's driving around Dragging things ? It's not on there anymore, Apparently it's got something to do with the Drifting Scene, I just did it for a laugh as seen loads of jap car's doing it. But then People in the 106's and Saxo's started doing it so took it off as don't want to be Associated with them

Such a shame! Mine is the only one around my Area that i know of, I know quite a few people with them from Medway way though but there all just enthusiasts, But yeah i can imagine that the Chav's would like them.. Unfortunately

I thought i may aswel show what i drive, As i don't own the 350z it's my dad's car just come on here for him as he cannot work computers This may not be to everyone's taste but I'm mad about imports and I've wanted something with abit of poke since i started driving but insurance was a no go so had to wait, But when i turned 19 and got my 2 Years ncb went and got a car I've always liked... It's an Toyota Starlet EP82 Gt turbo.. It took me 8months to find the right one as i couldn't find any standard one's, But i did finally find this one, It was the cleanest shell i had seen so i had to snap it up. I got it as a completely standard car it has done 74,000miles, Since I've had it I've fitted some Meister R Coilovers and 15" Bronze rota grids and this is how she looks at the moment.. Opinions welcome

When it was first imported in 2005 (January) it had done 51,884 Miles For it's 2006 MOT (February 1st) it had recorded 59,423 Miles For it's 2007 MOT (March 13th) it had recorded 63,857 Miles For it's 2008 MOT (May 2nd) it had recorded 66,988 Miles Then the engine Rebuild was done in August 2008 And For it's 2009 MOT (May 8th) it has recorded 68,455 Miles The car is now on 68,700 Miles and unlikely to have anymore put on it, So since the engine rebuild it's done around 1500miles Maximum.

The engine Rebuild was done by a Company down in Hythe called Japcar, He specialises in Japanese car's. Went in because the bottom end started knocking, As far as i'm aware (Have to phone my old man for specific details as i'm listing it on behalf of him) It has New CrankShaft, New High Performance Bearings throughout the engine, New Conrods, New Pistons, HKS Head Gasket, HKS Uprated Oil Pump, New Valve's, New Valve Springs, New cam shafts, All the gasket's and Oil seals throughout the engine were also replaced, So it's essentially brand new, It's not been rebuilt for mega power as my old man isn't interested in performance so much However anything that the Mechanic recommended to be changed or uprated has been done regardless of cost And when that was oil done all the General replacements were done such as Water Pump, HKS Reinforced Timing Belt, New tensioners. Then about 4months after the engine rebuild it started making and alarming rattling kind of noise, Took it back to the same garage thinking it was something up with the engine, But turned out one of the turbo's was gone, So i had both replaced with Refurbished Garret turbo's, These are Standard size. Hopefully that's enough detail.

Was just wondering if im able to list a car for sale ? It's not a 350z so not sure what section to put it in ? If im aloud to do so that is.. Thanks
-
Everyone is entitled to there opinion mate and thanks, They need a Refurbish though
-
All the brakes are fine, The rear disc's as you can see are pretty rusty but there getting replaced with the pads, Other then that the car is in Excellent condition, It's only done just over 42,000miles. The only reason it's been parked up is because it was purchased as previous owner couldn't afford to keep it and needed to pay of the Finance on the car, So managed to pick it up for a stupidly low price, Then it just got put up the drive and was only used a couple of time's. But now the time has come to sell the other car, this one is getting put on the road
-
Cleaned all behind the lights as was filthy And cleaned all the Wheel arches out and Waxoyl'd them all, Just waiting for the rear pads to arrive now, And then the Tyre's. Then can get it on the road. Next thing is to get the Wheels refurbished as there in Dire need of doing.
-
So it's time... My old man has decided to get it on the Road after 4 and abit Years of sitting around looking sorry herself. Went for it's MOT the other day down the Garage were i work, It failed on Rear Pads and Rear Tyre's, My boss told me since it's last MOT in Late 2006 it's done 672miles Ordered Rear Tyre's for it, And just Ordered some rear pad's So i decided to do some things on it for my Dad whilst we are waiting for the Tyre's and Pad's to turn up, First of all put it on the front of the drive hasn't been there for a long time Took the car to a Garage to get the looking wheel nuts removed as the key didn't come into the country with the car When it got back gave it a basic hose off And I've started Cleaning the Arch's and Underneath ready for some Waxoyling to prevent that rust it may get in years to come. Will upload Picture's when i can
-
Would Prefer OEM one's
-
Does Anyone know ??
-
Finally got the locking wheel nuts off so can take the wheels of now and need to Replace the Rear Pads. But My 350z doesn't have Brembo Brakes So i need to know the Part number of the Rear Pads, As none of my Local Motor Factors can find the Pads for me. Thanks
