Is the fact that its an import anything to do with it?

I put a post on here yesterday about insurance, might me a good idea if you have a look at it to get an idea on what people are paying. I got a good quote from bell yesterday!

I'm just sick of this whole situation! out of the 23 days ive had my car, ive actually had it for 10! its taking the p@ss. I love the 350Z and all i want is one thats sound and when you pay 12k cash for one from a dealer, you expect it to be just that!

Bought it outright i think it would be a much easier situation if it was on HP! Yeah, they have talked to each other but apparently they are bull sh@tting each other. Derby told ilkeston (yeah nissan main dealers) that they havent fixed a lose panel....they did fix it! and theres this "who's gonna pay for the work" thing going on! The garage that i bought it from have no other Zed, BUT derby has an 07 plate GT with 4k on the clock for 18k im very tempted to get my money back and put it towards this one! :S

They spoke to the dealer i bought my zed from and was told that if i want to hand it back, i would have to put it in writing.......why do you ask? its gonna be bad news right?

Have you thought about moving again?

Ive bought V6 SVR.......because my Zed is silver....and its got a V6 in it........ hehe!

Thanks very much for that. Its now in the hands of Nissan HQ! I've been told that i can put it in writing and give the car back if i want to!

I have a two year warranty from Nissan.

Oh, and to top things off, i'm now being told that because i "authrorised" the work in a different dealer, i might have to pay! 23 days ive had it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So the warranty isnt covered by all Nissan dealers?

For those of you who dont know what troubles i've had with my 350Z, basically, bad noises coming from the front. I took it back, was told that it was un-even tires, they changed them.....noises still there. took it to a different dealer with the issues, found a lose panel under the engine and they have now taken the gear box out and there is a problem with that! I've had my zed for 23 days and its spent 13 of those in the garage! Im sick and tired of this and im being told that this problem could take weeks to resolve because theres a conflict between the dealers to who's going to pay for the work! I need to know my rights with regards to handing it back and getting my money back!? Please advise

Got a quote for £748 with Bell earlier, thats with my missus on the policy! Add £100 without!?

I doubt I'd get a better deal to be honest? My policy is fully comp and covers business.....I'd be happy to be proven wrong though

Yeah thats sound about right. mine is a 04 GT, i believe theres a slightly different unit to the newer ones and it lacks a connection at the rear. "apparently" without an amp, i wouldnt have been able to control the sub. i can adjust the amp in the settings now. Is that the case for you mate?

Im interested in jtec23's set up. I had to fit an aftermarket sub because the bose sub couldnt handle the power and made that strange thudding noise. its much better now but finding it hard to get the right sound set up?? I was told that an amp would have to be fitted to get the bose sub to work with the alpine, anyone know if this was correct or was it the fitter ripping me off?

I can phone them up tomorrow and find out for you guys.

Yeah, different fascia. if you look and the middle of the fascia on the right, you can see where they had to "modify" a split fascia. its hardly noticeable and im happy with the outcome. I couldnt tell you what fascia they used tho, sorry.
