Has anyone ditched their spare for weight benefits and replaced it with a tyre in a can? would anyone think this to be a good idea or bad?

I agree that if you get caught speeding, you should hold your hands up and say fair play and except whatever is given to you. Although, last month i got caught doing 43 in a 30 and i was extremely p!ssed off at getting 3 points and a £60 fine because "they" were naughty! Duel carriageway (50mph), then into a 30mph with a set of traffic lights with what looks like a traffic light camera. it was, until they replaced it with a speed camera and seriously, its so unfair, if you checked your mirrors in that gap of 50 to 30 then lights, you would be done! Its all so close together, you dont stand a chance! I've had a clean license since day one and consider myself a careful driver. I'm not happy to be caught like that!

She settled for a 307 in the end!! Glad she took my advice!!

Longlife are/were a Cardiff based company and they give you a lifetime guarantee with their exhausts (as long as you own the car that is). I've seen a few on other cars back home and they are pretty nice! Would love to see their 350Z exhaust!

Why e-mail? I get the impression they are an established exhaust maker of some reputation who will probably have a look at e-mails irregularly. I called them and a negotiated superb price. Blueflame have decided to ignore my emails so unless i get some feed back from them and get my wonky exhaust fixed i have nothing good to say about the company.......apart from the awesome sounding exhaust!

Guys, you're just depressing me!! I should just lie shouldn't i! Im a 29yr old teacher with my car parked in a garage with an armed guard!

Ok, so i renewed my insurance yesterday..... This is a goodun!! So this year, this is what i could give them.... Self employed security consultant 29yr old male 3yrs no claims x2 additional drivers (partner + brother, infrequent drivers) SP30 (so just the 3 points + £60 fine) last years premium- £1300 This years premium- £1180!! (Bell) Is someone having a laugh with me?? I know i picked up 3 points but surly i should be paying a lot less than that!? Chris Nott was my favorite phone call yesterday. I was asked what i do for a living, I replied (as i always have) "security consultant" and then i was asked to go into detail about what that is (never had to do that with anyone before) and once i had, i was told that they would not insure me and then told that if i dont tell my insurer every single time i change clients, my policy would be void! THEN, told that they would not add my girlfriend to the policy because she had not had at least one years experience driving my car!?!? Errrmmmm how is she supposed to get experience if they wont insure her!?!

Basically, the flanges where out by a country mile and the guys at the garage had to put them in a vice so that they could bolt them together, this put the whole back section out and thats what you can see. very poor engineering!

Well, its been fitted and it sounds awesome!! BUT not without my fair share of bad luck! The tail pipes are not even, they are not even the same depth (about 15mm out) and i have to wait almost a month to take it back to the garage where it will be heat treated to be corrected! I can honestly say that nothing ever goes smoothly for me and the Zed!!

I should be getting my Blueflame this morning! Captain got one a little while back and posted a video up. I'll do the same asap if you need some more info on helping you decide.
