  1. +1 check out these guys, got a place up in Scotland too. If you look in the gallery, there's a white zed with black roof that looks sweet... http://www.totally-dynamic.co.uk/go/home
  2. Absolutely stunning mate, I love it that kit & lip is exactly what I'd go for myself... but I don't have the cash for that heh...
  3. Aahhh! I've just realised it's your carbon splitter i'm watching on ebay too! Meant to ask, it states only 06 onwards, will it not fit an 04?
  4. V. Nice that Z , I'll keep an eye out for it; I'm in Altofts, about 10 minutes from Xscape
  5. ... actually from a 'condition' perspective, most of the roads round me are in a shocking state, shake yer fillings out...
  6. A1 Horrible road! Some absolute numpties driving on it too - those filter lanes getting onto it, people actually STOP before pulling out onto a national speed limit dual carriageway, at snail pace. Unbelievable! Heavy rozzer coverage too
  7. hmmmm I quite like, looks very promising for the front ones if these are anything to go by, could be tempted if they turn out well... Keep us posted with the pics!
  8. 'kin tree huggers. Bet they all drive Prius's
  9. ... speaking of which - 85million Euro lotto tonight... think i can spare £1.50 for that, regardless of the odds!
  10. OMG that's made me shudder, sounds awful! I fancy doing a half marathon this Sunday... Oh yeah that's right, I am! 2009 Great North Run for me! If you've got your telly on look out for me, I'll be easy to spot, I'll be the one with the trainers on...
  11. yeah agreed, was gonna give the S3 a month or so on them 1st!
  12. Hi guys, thanks for your replies - yeah they're supplied with longer bolts as far as I know (that's what he's doing for my mates S3 anyway), so in light of that think I'm probably still better off with the Eibachs! Even though it's double the damage Typical Yorkshireman you see, 'owt for nowt!'
  13. Hi all, I'd decided previously my first mod would be spacers for the rims, namely the Eibach 20mm ones from CS, but I haven't yet taken the plunge... However, having spoken to a mate of mine who owns an S3, he's having some made by a company called East Sussex Precision Engineering (ESP) who apparently get a lot of mention on the Audi forums and a good name. He made a few enquiries on my behalf and the guy said he didn't have the measurements but could easily make them once he does, he just taps it into the machine and hey presto, and he quoted £99 for all four corners! So, first of all, what d'you think to the deal? Second of all, would anyone be able to advise the measurements, and the max size you could safely stretch to? (had planned 20mm all round, but would you stagger it 25 rear / 20 front?) My main concerns revolved around strenght & durability, but given they do a lot of the Audi ones and many others on Ebay, they sound fairly promising... Cheers for input
  14. All of the above i.e. the looks, presence & agressiveness, the performance, handling, soundtrack etc.... But also, the feeling of 'exclusivity'. Looked at 3.2 TTs, Alfa GTAs, RX8s etc. etc. but really none of them feel quite so special as the zed, and lets face it, unless you're knocking around the twisty Scottish Roads early September ( ) you don't see many on the road! See endless amounts of TTs, just don't have that edge. As I say - 'The only Zed in the village!'
  15. Good stuff mate, tempted by an SLR myself... your zed looks too loving the smooth 'spoiler-less' look, really suits it being nice & low...
  16. 20mm hub Spacers! And swapping the Nissan Burger Badges for Z's
  17. The girl in the table cloth and red shoes is checking out Mr Incredibles package! That would be 'Dorothy' as in Wizard of Oz... Dirty Girl!!! She's not gonna find Toto in there!
  18. Mike - isn't that you stood next to me?? What were you doing in Wakefield????
  19. Good good, well I can honestly say (given that the heavens opened today after having spend hours on it yesterday ) the wax displayed fantastic beading, so I'm pretty chuffed for now Don't know if anyone else uses Rain-X on the windscreen / windows too..? Great stuff, beads straight off as if they were waxed
