  1. Or mod the 06> reflectors to the mk1 bumper and save a @*!# load of cash lol...
  2. quick question, do the 06- reflectors fit the mk1 276bhp front bumper? these are sexy... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XtTeg1tc ... re=related
  3. I do like these and there not over the top in my eyes, but I was thinking ICE White rather than orange.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CavmXxxZUto Alex
  4. Looks like a nice little car park meet lol... Not to sure on them though.
  5. I use the K&N aswell. It was fitted when I bought the car an every couple of weeks I just take it out and shake it lol...When the oil doesnt come off on your finger (wipe it across) just re-apply and your done. With past experiance with my Gen 7 Celica alot of the Jap filters (Blitz & TRD) are throw away and not re-useable. Plus do any of the other filtes offer the 100'000 mile warranty like K&N? Alex
  6. Now then mate, I've been looking at these. My mate uses them weekly for shops etc etc. They take supply direct from 12v and are waterproof. In the 5 years he's used them they've never failed..He's getting me some samples to check out.
  7. You may find both the noises are related mate...The pads sometime knock on the calipers if theres no copper grease etc on them. This normally happens when you take up drive or select reverse. I would grease the rear surface of the pads first and clean all mateing faces... Alex
  8. Hi Sam, you may find the ABS light comes on because the engine light is on. A lot of vehicles do this now. I think once the camshaft sensor is repalced the lights will all go out with the computer plugged in. Alex
  9. Very true and I did agree with my mate on that one ... But it's the straight line speed that sparked off the conversation ... He's currently getting a new engine dropped in and wants to test the theory soon though .. LoL If there was money on the drag race i wouldnt bet on the zed even if its a whole second faster to 60. i have missed second gear a few times making a fool of myself. haha Haha priceless....always happens when you need to win aswell...
  10. Hi mate, thanks for the info and links...I'm still planning on how to approch it lol...Need to decide on the best l.e.d's first then work the reflector/holder round them... Alex
  11. Thanks for the info Husky, my older brother is pritty trick with electrics and l.e.d's. One of my younger brothers works for a company were they do sheet fabrication with water jet cutters lol...guess its not what you know but who lol... If I need any help though sounds like theres a few people to ask including yourself. Cheers dude. Regards Alex
  12. pretty sure this is right. i bought the set he had done, havent taken any pic yet but can get some if you want some ideas. i am pretty impressed with them That would be great mate if possible...just post as may as possible lol. Thanks
  13. I'm in two minds weather to touch the O.E reflectors or make something new to house the l.e.d's...I want them to be water proof/jet wash proof so I guess the l.e.d's will have to be sealed into something... Alex
  14. Ahh that answers that then lol..I didnt realise to be honest...I'll have another search later on. I have a friend who works in the outdoor shop signage and graphics trade. He'll hook me up with l.e.d's and my brother rocks with electrics lol...I'll chat with Husky when I have a cunning plan and know what I want...I'm just a mass of ideas at the mo... Thanks for the info upto now guys, keep it coming...
  15. Yeh was thinking something like that but better quality lol...There well cheap for what you get... Hi Bounty, i think I see how there done, I was thinking similar in the means of covering the reflector aswell...Looks like theres holes in the reflector then the l.e.d lights but behind..? I would really like to design something myself...
  16. Ok people, I've been a little busy with work etc lately and haven't spent much time on the Z. I plan to put some L.E.D's on the front bumper reflectors. If everything goes to plan this should make the front a little more modern looking like the new vehicles knocking around. I've done a search and nothing came up searching for L.E.D....Has anyone does this? I have a plan in my mind just though if anyone has, they could offer info before I make it to complicated lol Thanks Alex
  17. Haha this is local to Hull, I have K5*BYE on my plate...looking forward to meeting this guy though. I think he owns a electrical company in the area. Alex
  18. Now then mate, were you from...? I live in Hessle...theres loads of Z's now around here lol...What you got? Alex

Normally the reverse sensor kit takes it power from the reverse light. When you select reverse and the wire becomes live it also feeds the parking sensors with a live.
  20. Spotted you leaving the car park while I was spinning on Weds night, think it was PF07 lol.....Black alloys from what I could see...
  21. I didn't mean to sound rude or under estimate your work man ship dude. All I meant to say is you can't blend paint work properly without product designed for the job i.e blending laqure etc... I wish you all the best with the correct colour and positive step you take but I honestly feel your wasteing time and cash. Let's be honest we spend more than £6.99 on polish and larger every week lol.. Maybe you should have touched it up with laqure until you had the funds for the correct repair method. Another quick point, please dont use chipsaway or small mobile compaines because we rectifiy more work from then than home diy jobs lol... Good luck mate, prove me wrong and I'll pay for you paint Alex
  22. as for this u have to email alexz. he will help u out. i have done it on mine and its spot on. took about 3-4 hours and about £30 of bits but worth it. Thanks for the feed back Sparky....nice to know your happy with the mod Alexz
  23. To be honest mate even with the correct colour it wont look very good. Ive working in a body shop for 13 years and with met or pearl you always have to blend the adjcent panel for colour..Trying to do a small patch like your is never going to look right. I got a Blade silver touch up pen from Halfords and it was miles out. I got my money back and went to Nissan it was only £3 compared to Halfords £10. My advise would be get it done by a pro and pay the bill....sorry man.. Alexz
  24. Good news mate, glad shes sorted... There a lot of number flying around about wheel torque settings but if you read the nissan manual its 108Nm... Alexz
  25. That was I, Ive also seen a gunmetal one in Asda car park on hessle road....I was haveing a quick bite of dinner with the Mrs in the black Civic Come and talk to me dude...Were you live?
