Haha , well I did like the look of the old rusty ones but when I saw that everyone owned them in our area I wanted to be a little different. I guess if worst comes to worst I could use a brillo pad to clean mine and have your paint work colour in about 6 months lol... . You best keep that tailgate locked at the meet cause I need a cargo next asap lol Alexz
  5. If your prepered to have a drive about I would advise getting the Autotrader and looking on Pistonheads. Make a list of about 5-8 in a large loop from your home then make a day out veiwing them all the same day...that way you can compare easier and the better ones will look good compare to some of the sh*t people are selling out there £12k sould get you a nice car mate... I bought mine Saturday just gone..Uk, Full GT Spec, Rays, FSH, 40k for £11400. This was from a Ford main dealer, they took it as px against a new Focus RS lol. Not to sure where your base but theres a company called www.s200.co.uk on the net and they seem to move a fair few so I guess there good quality cars, but there right down south and would advise looking with your own eye first. Alexz
  6. Saw you in Hull town centre tonight about 5.15pm...I never got time to flash or wave cause I was watching the car infronts brakes lol...

Hi Heath, thanks for the bluetooth module it works great... although when I collected the car I couldnt understand how it fitted until the carrier slid open lol
  9. Well I've been counting down the months from the days I decided I wanted a Z. After sorting some cash the hunt was on...I had a spec and cost in mind, it was just a matter of finding one... After viewing a 2004 53plate in Blade Silver, Rays, GTspec with FSH (40K) at Grimsby Audi up for £10,995 I thought my luck was in . I took it for a test drive and it made some strange noises lol...When I got back it required the brakes replacing, all four tyre replacing, most panels de-dinging and a good old tlc clean...I decided to walk away from this when they said there isnt enough money in the sale to complete the list of problems I wanted sorting before we spoke figures lol. Second, I went across to a company called Prestige Performance in Selby...this again was a 2004 53plate, Blade Silver, GT spec with FSH (26k) up for £12,695...I decided to have a good look round this one before I test drove it lol... There was a large repair on the drivers side quarter panel, the full passanger side had been repainted poorly, the front drivers door glass surround was damaged where it had been broken into oh and the bonnet had a fair few stone chips ...again I walked away lol After seeing the car above I went across country to Chesterfield were I found a 2004 04plate Blade Silver Full GT spec with Rays & FSH (40k) up for £11,995. I had a good luck round it and found a couple of small dents that my mate could de-ding, the drivers side rear alloy scuffed, stone chip on the drivers front wing and one on the passanger side of the front screen. It's had a lady owner for the last 18 months according to all the paperwork that came with the car. I got the sales man to sort the alloy wheel and front screen stone chip...my mate is sorting the dents for me next weekend. With a little tlc and a good polish the car will be mint..I cant believe the power compare to Celica lol...In the end I gave £11,400 for the car with 6 months tax and full MOT... What do you guy think? Alexz
  10. Some clean images there....nice day out for all
  11. Yeh mate I'll be there Now buy somthing of me lol
  12. Hi people, due to the purchase of a Z I have the above items for sale from my Toyota Celica. Both the items are in perfect working order and I can post extra images for anyone who would like them. I know both the items come standard on the Z hense the sale but if your partner or friend likes the spec of the Z here your chance to make it happen for them . http://www.monstermodz.co.uk/list_produ ... category=4 Econ H7's These bulbs will fit any headlamp that take H7 bulbs as stanard. I'm looking at somewere near the £100 mark, before anyone says you can them cheaper new of Ebay all I can say is you pay for what you get. Parrot CK3000 Evolution Bluetooth Hards Free Kit. This is a full hands free bluetooth car kit. I also have the iso connect to make it wire stright into the Toyotas radio wiring loom. I'm looking for £40+p&p with the loom included or £30+p&p just for the kit. With the £60 fine and 3 points is it worth risking it? http://www.audio66.com/product.asp?id=5 ... variation=
  13. We mate i've just checked her thread out and it does look very nice...not sure on the £450 price tag though, but like she said when the cars cost £12,000 and the bikes are £1500-£3000 each whats £450 lol.. I've also found another one from a local company in the town I live and all the lights etc are still visable when attached... Nice mate, I've asked my girlfriend if i could take her new Civic Type S and the answer as you can guess was NO lol...although If I did scratch it, it would have been cheaper and less hassle to buy a rack lol..
  14. That was quick guys lol... Thanks for the info people... I'll have a seach for Caroline's posts
  15. In a couple off months I should be the proud owner off a Z. I do a bit off bike here and there and the bike slips stright into the back off my Celica at the mo... Looking at the boot space in a Z I'm 100% sure my bike won't fit, there must be more than me out there who enjoy's a little mountain biking and have the same problem? What solutions can you all think off or has some one already resolved this issue? Not overly keen on slapping a rack on the tailgate cause I've done this on other cars and it always ends up marking or denting the panel...
  16. time will tell my friend, i'm looking forward to it. Most my mates have GTR's and GTS Skylines, and they always seem to have more fun, although they do have 200bhp more than me at the min lol
  17. Yeh, I guess your right mate, it's a lot of cash if it goes wrong aswell lol... I have a Toyota Celica at the min, I've had it nearly three years. All my cars have been front wheel driver, although I have drove rear wheel in the past, just not hard lol...
  18. To be honest mate, this will be the first rear wheel drive I have owned so I will be taking it a little easy for a while lol...But i'm looking forward to learning.
  19. Haha, fair point about the Z and its good reputaion. There are plenty off people who love it through and through. I'll put up link as i find the car's i fancy..
  20. Ahh thats intresting, I must admit Nissan did say the UK verson will have better suspension, aerodynamics and higher quality interior items. Not sure if this is all true, but I have been in a 2004 and 2006 GT spec and neither of the rattle or felt bad in anyway.
  21. Hi all, some of you may remember my post from early June (Welcome Thread) about me wanting a Z. Well I’m finally starting to move forwards with the purchase plan. I've arranged my finances to hopefully be sorted for late this year and I've set up a potential buy for my car this morning. Lucking for to owning one, although I did sit down with a cuppa this afternoon after work, flicked Dave Ja Vu on to see Top gear carrying out a road review on the Z. Seem to me like Mr Clarkson didn’t really like it much lol. I've already started collecting spare parts, although I do have a Drivers Side Headlamp (2006 Inc HID) that is no use to me (I want a 54 plate) if anyone is interested for a small finders fee (£100). There are two location bracket broken off, but still two remaining. It would sit fine in the car and the saving off £468 plus vat is worth to broken brackets lol . Anyways, as I progress I'll be keeping you all posted with the finding etc and links to car I may be viewing if that’s ok :thumbs
  22. Thanks for the info people on the SatNav options. I do already have a satnav and i have it on my phone (thats always with me) so not to worry really. I just need to have a good luck when it comes to buying one...
  23. Cool, I've been reading through some of Hamsters old posts and I think he's tried to sort a local meet up one evening at a pub. If we get somthing sorted i wouldnt mind having a look at all your cars. I know I have a Celica at the moment but I'm willing lol.... One other question while im typing (although I'm going to search anyway) whats the easiest way to tell the import from the UK spec's. I guess the import has a strange rear fog light or no fog light like all the other Jap imports??? I've read about the Lady Leather been in the imports also? Any other difference that are simple to spot?
