  1. It's standard mate, I have a 04 UK spec GT so It should be 276bhp lol. I have a K&N Panel filter (fitted when I bought it) and I've just fitted some Denso Iridium plugs. I dont think either of these will make any difference tbh. Alexz
  2. Evening mate, theres a clear increase there, not sure how that torque works though doesnt that read 1139ftlb lol Looking at your sig I guess its the Kintex one? Alexz Sorry mate, am playing with you, it does have a motordyne one, but there is a few other mods and a tune on it too. Its about 250 torque (both figs are at the hub) Its also the increase from Hiflow cats to Decats. This may help more Both tuned, but one its stock v moddified Haha, fair play mate... all I really want is a standard Z with just the spacer fitted if poss. There claiming abour 10bhp from just the spacer and it seem a lot. I would like someone to back it up. I know its not all about the power, this mod also helps with the breathing problem to the front cyclinders (main reason I found it) but i'm not paying £200 plus for some noise lol Alexz
  3. Looks cheap enough to me man, but I havent really looked at imports only uk cars. Alexz
  4. Good show mate...TLC is the best way.. Alexz
  5. Well the weather man said it was going to be a dry day and he was right.... I got some more claying done and the plugs changed...I've used a little Redex and Optimax since I last removed the plugs and there seem better now. Clay Time.... For the people who dont know why this is required Ive shown a few close ups lol.. With a good wash sorted you will still find little tar bit and surface sh*te hangging around.... After the clay session on the wing.... Tada, the polish is just to give the paint a little jacket until the full wax and p/c action can start. Right the plugs...I tooks the images as I removed the Strut braces, engine cover, air filter pipe, coils and plugs from the passanger side... Strut Brace, understand were the lock nuts are and loosen them any way you feel you will remeber the correct seeting. This has to be retighten back to the original setting.. Remove the Brace fixing bolts and nuts. Undo the air filter pipe at the following locations Remove the four engine bolt nuts Remove the bolts securing the wiring loom and coil packs and unplug the coils.. Whip the plugs out.. When the plugs are fitted it's advised to use some sort of copper grease etc to make sure the plugs dont corode in the heads. I use Antiscuffing paste.. Refit in revese order. The Plug torque setting is 23n.m. Alexz

Hi mate and welcome to the site.... As far as I understand chains are meant for life unless theres a problem. They become noisy when faulty but this is very uncommon from what I have read. I also beleive they use the oil from the sump to keep lubed up...So just keep an eye on the oil level and you should be fine... Alexz
  18. Ive used Toyo's on my past two cars, i'll change the Z to them when required. There not massive on cost and do everything you need on the road good. Alexz
  19. The seat airbags are normally run from a air pressure sensor in the door. When the door takes a large impact it increase the air pressure in the door shell and tells the airbag swtich to release the airbag. This give the airbag time to explaned befor the door hits the person. Well thats how most Merc's work anyway lol The seat pretensioners are nornally triggered from sensor around the external perimitter of the car i.e bumpers etc.. Alexz
  20. A couple of nights ago I was driving home and the word ice came on the m/f display...There was no way it was 3deg's as the gauge side. At the Howden meet I checked my car agaisnt a couple of the other memebers and mine was3 deg's lower. Theres both read 9 and mine was 6. Is there any way to calibrate this temp sensor or is it just a replacement thing? Alexz
  21. bummer man I raced a T5 years ago and got done, but im clean now....touch wood...
  22. Looking at the image and milagee mate I would say thats about the right price. I think you could get it for early £11ish.. Ive just bought a 04 plate GT with 40k on it for 11,500...from a Ford dealer if that helps. Alexz
  23. Like above dude, If your happy with it and you paid the right price just enjoy driving it... Alexz
  24. I think the best thing to do Is get a few together from Autotrader or somewere and go and see them all in one day.. This way you can compare them there and then, plus you get a better understanding of quality for the spec and years your looking at if you get me... Alexz
