Hey guys I need an urgent favour if possible from someone in the West Midlands area. I am due to go to Abbey first thing in the morning but I don't have my intake pipe. I am having the paint code read so I can colour match some things. Just got back off holiday yesterday and its not back with me so my car is going nowhere unless I can either................. A) get hold of a K&N typhoon intake pipe (will be bloody lucky me thinks!!) or Hope someone has a standard airbox knocking around so I can borrow it for a day. Not ideal as it won't be tuned with what the car will be running daily but its only the intake so I am figuring it won't make that much difference. I also end up spraying the wind screen alot by mistake as everything is on the other side to the Mondeo so if anyone sees a crazy man washing his windscreen and wipers going like the clappers that means hello!!!!

The 285 on the rear will be fine for 10" wide wheel. Would have thought you would want to keep the side Walls the same front and rear. Mine are 30 all round on a 20" alloy.

If you do go down the route of tuning I think you could then also sell your throttle controller as the tune will give you 100% throttle and I believe you don't need this then. A little back towards the tune.

K2 is definitely legal and you won't have any troubles with it what so ever. The K2 is similar to stock until you get above about 4k revs then it makes a good noise!! If you are after a stock UK exhuast then try R35LEE or ZMANALEX. The JDM exhuast is quieter than UK so if going for stock then make sure its a UK one.

The kit comes with complete brackets and struts. Nothing additional required to fit. It just won't be the correct pressure for a carbon bonnet I would have thought as its pretty much spot on for my aluminium one. Would have thought this was too much pressure for a carbon hood, sure its not a hard job to release some of the gas though.

Thankyou, i have contact the seller. Did the ones you bought fit well, and were they a good price? Yeah they fit pefect after I had made cut outs in the battery and fluid surrounds. And they only raised the bonnet to the same height as the original. I got them in black for about £44 delivered. I will take some pictures for you when I finish work.

You could also speak with Mark (madmarky) as he has some on his carbon bonnet and he mentioned a company near him that will specifically make them to your measurements so its not too high or low, depending on what you are after.

I got some off ebay the other day and they are nice, would need some gas letting out for a carbon though. Think the seller was crome manics.

Trying to help a friend out with a wing mirror problem. The wing mirror has been clipped and the colour coded backing plate has come off. Can these just be replaced as the stealer has said you need to buy the whole wing mirror unit at over £200 !! Haven't seen the wing mirror so can't see myself if its just a simple click in piece of plastic. Anyone got one and know where best to go to get a replacement cover? Cheers Grant
