  1. Easiest indicator - is your rear number plate square? You may find quite simply that your insurance comapny are just muppets If it does turn out to be an import - that's no skin off your nose - just find an insurer that realises it doesn't matter one way or another

I had the most amusing one yet this week sat at some traffic lights in Dundee (Stobswell outside Blockbusters for those who know it) - two wee scruff balls about 10 ish absolutely wetting themselves almost climbing in the passenger door "Your car's f*cking meeeeentaaaaaaal" I hate to think what they'd do if a real super-car car came by bless them

  14. I seem to remember reading that all the press cars - (demonstrators for journalists) were imports - so you may find it was one of the press cars used as a demonstrator etc and mothballed between launch and 2005

This was just featured on Billy Connolly's Route 66 - I'd never seen it before - is genius as a community art project Done in the 70's by some eccentric to celebrate the freedom that motors gave America...he encourages visitors to paint them and every so often re-paints them to give a fresh blank canvass. Now added to my 1000 things to see before you die list
