^ Chris's suggestion for X-country is a good one if you're coming up the west If you want to get here fast come straight up the west as you have detailed - but if you want a then come up the East and come off the A1 onto the A698 and head up through the Borders via Coldstream and onto the A68 and over Soutra. Check the paperwork and see if that pre-authorises them to any amount. If not, you did not authorise them so they have no right to charge you. Go back and talk to the manager, you might get something back in goodwill +1 you didn't authorise it and could've done it yourself
