  1. 32c here today... and private FREE locked parking
  2. I'm a bit meh about it... first seven tracks are good but the rest is a bit loungey - its coming out to Spain with me along with the usual holiday albums... Air, Bob, Floyd, Leftfield and various chill out stuff
  3. Yes but a standard car is worth pretty much the same, £2000 spent on the car = something that appeals to a very small % of possible owners now, thats why I said £1k too much unless you want to wait for the right person, which might well happen you never know... Topcat your car is mint but take the advice given in the manner it is intended - with the best intentions... if you are looking to sell either part out and/or drop the price. Take a look at my FS thread from last year - http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/57863-azure-54-plate-gt-coupe-sold/ comparable in terms of mod costs and FSH but less mileage. I achieved asking price within a month of putting her onto PH and Autotrader - but my buyer had been watching the forum as well and knew that when I put her up on PH I was serious. Best of luck
  4. FFS this is about insurance not nationalism or independence! Chill yer chuddies guys.
  5. along - remember as far as choosing between the roadster and coupe - the ride and drive quality was sacrificed as the car was never meant to be a roadster... most roadster drivers end up upgrading suspension - especially if they want to enjoy 'spirited' driving or take the car on track
  6. Suppose actually it is a heads up for everyone travelling north of the Border! If you have an accident outside of England yer fecked!
  7. Just a wee heids up to the Scots members - the legal cover on your policy with Admiral is not worth the paper it is written on. Some of you will remember the bike that used my rear end as a brake on the way to LakeZ in 2011. Admiral have been fannying around for the last two years and have just done a complete about turn on the claim. Having restored my NC bonus last year and written to me stating they were now pursuing the third party through legal system they have now said they will allow it to go 50/50. This is because having sent it on to their solicitors they then decided it needed to go to a Scottish solicitor and as a result back tracked and decided not to pursue. This time last year when they wanted a renewal they agreed to pursue... and we completed various documents for the solicitors... now it needs to go to a Scottish solicitor they can't be arsed. Needless to say I am not renewing with Admiral - not just because they seem to be unable to cope with a Scottish legal system but because they wanted more to insure the SAAB than they did for the zed
  8. Looks fun guys can't wait for more pics!
  9. Thats how I was, but when I came to buy a 313 zed, they were so rare, only 2 were for sale within 100 miles of my house and both of those were at dealers so I didnt have much choice! Things may have changed now and so the OP may find a few more available 2nd hand. Id also look at Nissan Approved Used Cars, you may find one there. Yeah there isn't many on PH at the moment is there? Weird.... OP - just stay clear of S20004U!

    Scam Alert!

One of the fife members and I'm surprised that he hasn't just offered a refund if it was a genuine mistake
  11. Would never buy from a dealer... buy privately on here or PH
  12. Same happened to me on the last hoon I had Darren behind me going over the Applecross pass when it became apparent. Next day I stayed at the back and asked Alex to follow me - I guess I was lucky too to have them at hand to cover my erse!
  13. oooh I can't wait to hear about this !!
  14. No and really unless indicated by service schedule or performance is a waste of time and money. Are you sure the juddering isn't just the usual 'tingling' of the zed gear stick? What year is the car?
  15. GM in Camperdown yesterday at about 3pm
  16. I can't say I prefer not having the zed to play with but must admit polishing the saab reaaaally does not hold any lure for me - she's been washed once in nine months - and not by me!! Dave - get outside and polish that bl**dy zed NOW!!
  17. Looks like a fun day - very jealous Mrs K - you got some Berks lucky lady!! I ignored the fact the saab has only been washed once in nine months and is starting to smell on the inside and spent the day making up my hanging baskets and a new herb garden - I'm actually contemplating offering my detailing services to local members
  18. You might be a bit disappointed by the drive and handling of the Porsche now but if you want to go get her back - I'd snap up Saffy if I was in a position to when she comes back on the market and as others have already said the Porker will be a decent investment if you're planning on keeping it
  19. another set of zed twins!!! Congrats to you and Lucy - and nice one on the inspection
  20. wow the Beetles didn't have much luck did they?!
