Neil, now that I know which dealership you're talking about I wouldn't chance any reason for them to turn down your multiple warranty claims - just throw the OEM exhaaust back on. Especially with the 'ticking' they'll prolly try and link the two together Also... with your clicky axle - don't let them get away with just re-greasing - it'll only come back

Welcome to the forum There's loads of discussion on the intakes...not sure about impact on MPG though...some say go for CAI - some say pop charger - some say just upgrade your panel filter. You'll need to read all the evidence and make your own decision

On the fast idle test first one was 0.36 % (marginal fail IMHO) second one was 0.74% - so in my case it also went up. It passed on the natural idle BTW - this is a 2004 1.6i Astra (with the twinport engine which supposedly is more economical and eco friendly ) - so its really not comparable to the zed

Do you mean an engine flush treatment or a fuel treatment? They're two different products and procedures - or is the Havoline some wonder multi-purpose tratment? I only ask because I just went through similar with my other car....because its spent the last ten months pootling round town...a fuel treatment into the petrol tank and a 30 mile blast never going below 4k revs sorted it no probs

Welcome to the forum Immediate thought is that its way overpriced - an 02 with 56k on the clock for £12k - erm no....the white does command a premium but not that much - suppose depends how much you like it...but for that money you could get an 04/54 with less mileage in any other colour bar red.
