  2. I certainly would not give a private seller a deposit - you have not got a leg to stand on if they do a runner. The bolster can't be repaired as such but it can be fed and dyed It is a weak spot on the seats and I doubt you'd find any zed without visible wear to the drivers' bolster
  3. Hope its gone to someone 'in the family'
  4. that is true i see i can get the led rear lights on ebay for £170 incl postage, although i do like the head lights a bit more and front lip on the 06 not sure if you can get the headlights anywhere? Yeah i have i spoke to the chap yesterday, real nice guy just he lives in Manchester and I'm right at the bottom of Devon hell of a way to go, and at the moment i can't get there by car as I'd rather go up with someone rather than train not saying it won't but just in case it's not the car for me as these things happen and like i said it's a long way to go and come back empty handed if i can get someone to get me there i said i will give him a call during the week, so i'm gonna sweet talk the missus lol Check the details on the rear LEDS - it is highly unlikely they will be genuine Nissan for that price - they are around £280 from traders on here and until now that has been the cheapest. The ones available on ebay are usually crappy US ones. If you can get the seller to agree £7k or even bit less this is a good price for a mint Azure with that mileage - however make sure you test drive it from cold and pay attention to the changes from 1st to 2nd and in and out of 5th
  5. Feckin hell - I don't think anyone has said it was irresponsible driving or anything of the sort... just that it would have been good to see the appropriate car seat in use to ensure wherever possible it was a safe as well as enjoyable experience. If the bloke posts a video online he can only expect comments
  6. Its bad ... very bad (says the woman who's GBF drives a Cayman)
  7. Nice of him to give her an early experience but utterly irresponsible without the appropriate child seat
  8. Mr T will tell you this was just "running a bit rich" http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/15700-knockhill-trackday-20th-september-featuring-zmanalex/
  9. Have to admit I just went on Youtube to find Bod - OMG - Farmer Barleymo and Aunt Flo Captain Pugwash and Ivor the Engine are there too!
  10. I would've told him he was demonstrating his lack of knowledge of cars on two points - first - driving a Merc in the first place - and second relying one of the automatic valuing sites such as "We Buy Any..." - I then would've let Gary get out the car - this tends to make folk drive off rapid like Did you get his reg
  11. to the forum. Your budget is pretty tight for a mint GT, revup in Azure or Sunset with less than 70k - but good luck to you
  12. Thankyou for making me smile on a Monday morning Squee
  13. Darren - I didn't realise SMD was out with you last week!
  14. if you will never use the zed to get to your part time job why on earth would you rattle your insurer's cage?!
  15. First thing I thought when I saw the outcome
  16. Not offended by that, chicks normally dig a bit of Rossy, I usually get Phil Mitchell
  17. Not all the pictures are displaying for me either (I'm on chrome too) and glad you posted this as I have seen this situation before but presumed it was just something to do with my browser. Only occurs with threads raised from the archives. Will raise this issue in the team area. Good (well not really) - it happens a lot with threads from before the forum changeover and not just in Chrome - before now I had assumed it was because I was using IE
