Have to say it also depends on the price of what you are prepared to pay per tyre... Vredestein: £110 (Camskill special offer!) Falkens:£115 Eagle F1's £135 Eagle Asymmetric - £150 RE050 £160 Pilot Sport - £160 Toyo's T1-R's £170 The Asymmetrics have had rave reviews in the past that they were an improvement on the current F1's due to its unique pattern.... On this forum, Falkens seem to be the ppls choice, basically best bang for buck!... Having said all of that, if I was changing tyres now, the Vredestein does look like a "hot" deal as its usually a lot more per tyre and also have had good reviews. So bottom line, depends how much you want to spend and what you want to do and reach a balance off that.

Jerry, why not get it off the envy folks??? they've got the discount on at the mo and they sell PIAA wipers... they are definitely worth the money, had them on my Honda before and they were worth every penny!

Just gotta say, cool pix..... out of interest, what mods do you have on your car???
-
Good going...... you need a new friend coz mine could do with a bit of detailing

Tesco 99 or V-Power only...stay away from BP as its expensive and lower quality. Pro's Tesco - Higher RON - smoother transition of petrol to power output (supposedly) Pro's V-Power - Supposedly cleaner and therefore looks after your car in the long term more BP - A wannabe

Hi all I thought I'd start a thread here for HIGHLY recommended places for servicing for our beloved 350's. Technically was thinking of independent places which specialises and people have gone to and not just "heard" about. Updated List: Scotland Wales Nis-Tec - Swansea. Ireland North Lockwood and Greenwood - Manchester. Atkins motor engineers - Malton North Yorks - Midlands South South East Kai Performance - Aylesford TGM RACING - Fleet DMS Racing Ltd - Erith

I seem to have the same problem, quick question though, I still get the sound - if not more once the engine is warmed up, whilst sitting in idle and in neutral... also when slowly pulling off, I get a grinding noise?? My alternative was to go find a good garage in Surrey but have yet to find once that truly knows the 350z's... Some have spoken about TGM, but Tom's very much a Honda DC5 kinda guy..

acknowledged, sound advice that makes sense.....of course.... sometimes the slide is just fun -
Just read somewhere, could it be wearing in the driveshafts that makes that noise?? Don't think it has a non standard flywheel, and even when warmed, sound is present... might just live with it for now, and see if it get's any worse... as ab350z said, don't really feel like getting screwed... any of u know of a recommended servicing place in Surrey??

Welcome to the forum. I got my GT4 less than a month ago. Basically it gives out 296bhp, where earlier models were lower.... only 176 were made in UK Get it in Kuro Black or the Ultra Yellow Pearl - which has something like 3 coatings of special paint... Limited Edition GT4 Ray Alloy's A silver plate saying which number of the 176 your car is I personally feel it gives a better sounding grunt for some reason ?!?!? Still optional are: Parking Sensors - (would advise... a pain to park I find) Sat Nav - which I've heard isn't that good though so not a biggie if you find a model that doesn't have this as you can get better ones for the mark up price As for things to look out for: Service history...P1's,2,3's depending what mileage u are looking for What fuel they used I've heard some gear changes in 4th or 6th is quite difficult.. Engine should rev cleanly and smoothly Also might want to wind down your window and listen to the sound when pulling off..... Apart from that, good luck in your hunt! .... well "her" hunt.

North Weald Airfield Day 16th Aug - Book Now!

Did you do this at the same place? My tyres were pretty buggered before I started and it used hardly any tread, it was very kind to them for an airfield. Also did you pump your tyres right up? This makes them less grippy which means less wear and more fun For those interested, I have provisionally booked now - put my name down but havent paid. Feel free to join me, Amanda and Ben Yeah did at the same place, but then like all days like these, its how hard you push your car and what you intend to do there... i.e, there for the fun, or there to know the limits of your car etc... Weather does play a part no matter what right?!? In essence, rubber is usually meant to be left on the road i.e. provides you the grip... but of course, none of us are F1 funded so its a matter of balance Anyway enjoy the day, think one of my mates is going in a Honda CRX... -

Did this a couple of years ago... agree great fun but the air field totally ate my tyres and watch out for stones/granite on the track! Either way, pray for you all that it's a little bit wet -
All Posting to see if you can all help: Symptoms: 1) Sounds like a loose ball bearing noise when clutch engaged (i.e. foot not on the pedal) 2) Occurs in low revs where sounds like metal being dragged Read 2 posts and researched a bit some say clutch bearings some say that it sounds natural The cars only done 8k!! so hopefully it ain;t the clutch Was meant to pop down to Nissan to enquire if it was "normal" sound.... but they cancelled on me due to the FA cup final.... Meaning to go down this Saturday again, but any help/advice much appreciated!!

Hi All Just thought like posting up a summary of my findings so far on Insurance Quotes I've always gone through insurance brokers rather than direct i.e. Elephant, Bell Direct or via confused.com search engines etc..... reason being I found insurance brokers have a wider network of insurers which is inclusive of small companies. Chris Knotts Sky A-Plan Flux Noel Dazely All the above are insurance brokers. One thing I have noticed this time round is each insurance brokers are not "whole of market" very much like how mortgage brokers work! Didn't really get my 15% or 20% discount as some of them suggested being a club member. About to go with one of the insurance brokers who found me a deal from an Aussie insurance company which was the cheapest overall, and got the EU cover for 90 days thrown in. Another thing to note is that sometimes you need to ask for the ability to cover you to drive another car and protect yourself as a third party.
