Hey guys , was posting a few months back after deciding between buying an RX8 and a rex well in feb i bought a low mileage 05 RX8 , having driven it a few months cant help thinking i should have bought the rex as my heart just isnt in the car and already been looking on autotrader ! which is not normal for me as normally im straight in buying aftermarket parts! I want to really like it , it has the red/black leather immaculate throughout handling is excellent but its difficult to get a good launch from the lights without making a complete idiot of yourself as the power only really comes on at 5k, you bog down if revs are less which can be frustrating if trying to beat a line of traffic in the inside lane before a road goes into one lane. when it gets going its ok and sounds great at high rpm but im missing the torque and shove of my previous cars, i havent any confidence with overtaking either as i feel im not going to make it when in reality i have plenty of room. couple of questions for any ex rx8 owners , when you picked your 350z up did you think it felt a lot more powerful than the rx8 ? are the 350z any better on fuel than the rx ? im averaging 16- 18 mpg town driving.

Hey guys , currenly saving my pennies for a Z started with a budget of 10 k then quickly realised i need more for a an 04 plate with about 40 k on the clock . I now have nearly 12 k in the bank and in the next few weeks will be going out to view. I must say for me 12k is a lot of cash and the most expensive car i will have owned to date ! , two questions - 1. With the 370 already out do you think the 350z prices will plummet or stay pretty good like the MK1 audi tt 2. Seem to have made my mind up i want a uk gt , but i cant help thinking i could get an st import and spend the 2 k on a nismo kit, exhaust , new wheels etc what do i do !!!!!! Anyone driven a uk and gt version , i know the exhaust is quieter in the import which is easily fixed , did i read somewhere the suspension was softer on the import version ? Thanks

Did anyone consider or use to own a 3.0 L Z4 on here ? looking at the stats the Z4 looks marginally quicker than the z although it is down on horse power compared to z. They are similar price to the Z just wondering how they compare ?

the zed second hand prices are definately strong must resist the temptation to throw in the towel looking for a zed when i see cheap cars for the money like this ! http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... &logcode=p the zeds will no doubt hold there value and more exclusive ! patience .....

true, but not with a 12k limit and less than 40k miles in search engine will just keep saving till something comes up !

Anyone imported a zed from japan , any importer recommendations ? is it me or is there not that many zeds for sale ? , i know its not the best time of year and most people are not thinking of selling cars etc looking to spend 10,500 - 11ish looking for an azure blue with no more than 40,000 on the clock if possible !! they are like hens teeth tho! dont really want to spend anymore as at 11k its a lot of money for me getting impatient waiting for something to come up!, my budget probably doesnt help just got me thinking about importing....
