what happened with your car ? any pics of damage ?

my budget is 13k , went to see this one as it was cheap !

very nice rx , that was exactly the same as my old one , had it 3 months couldnt get on with the power delivery , hunting for a z now so your in the right place !

well went to have a look this morning the car itself was not too bad , rays needed a refurb , paint was original bar front bumper and the passenger rear quarter has been sprayed at some point which were no biggys (picked up with my paint thickness guage !) however the service history got me worried 2 owners 1st was nissan main dealer was an ex demonstator , the car did 27,000 miles in 1 year 3 months in two months it had done 11 k! , no big problem as it was serviced afterwards the next owner then bought it and did 8,000 miles in 4 years however it was only just serviced at 34,000 . I know it has only just done 8, 000 miles since last service but i would at least get the oil changed after say 18 months anyway ? am i being picky ?! the other thing was the clutch biting point was right at the end of its travel ie biting point was not far off foot off the pedal is this normal for a zed ? on the whole the car was ok and im sure he will sell any comments?

think i will go and take a look in the morning , fingers crossed if its a good un i will have have £2k spare in my budget for mods

hey thanks v much for the feedback and long reply , i might take a trip there this weekend for a look see. since i sold my rx8 2 weeks ago i got a bundle of cash burning a hole right through my pockets for the right zed !

just wondering how the z gets on with 1/4 mile times on a track i.e santa pod ? anyone tested a stock ' v ' remapped z with high flow cats and exhaust etc is there much of a difference between stock and modified times ? anyone done any in-gear timings of stock v modified ?

would love to hear a vid of this ?

yeah the rex wasnt for me , i hope i dont make a similar mistake with a zed quick question about the zed power delivery , some critise it for having a complete linear power curve, the rex was also linear , please tell me when i hit the gas in the zed it still feels quick because it has the torque ? does the zed pin you in the seat when accelerating hard ? the rex when accelerating hard did not demand your full attention or give you the adrenalin rush a reasonably quick car normally does.

well.... i sold my Rex today after 4 months of ownership the call of the Zed was too much! Watched the new owner drive off in it this avo. soooo in a couple of weeks time i will be on the hunt for a mint z I dont suppose there are any Zed owners in chester area willing to take me for a quick spin ?! cheeky i know but i thought i would ask!

thanks for the comments guys , such a shame as it so well equiped on the inside and i do find it comfy and modern looking but everytime i see a zed im thinking damn i should have bought one the rex just doesnt feel like a 230 bhp car should
