just got a rather tasty new desktop that appears to have carbon side markers sooooo.. do we need these in the UK ? thanks , just put what i hope is the final layer on (got no more brushes !) the i just need to drill the mounting holes ad get it covered and finally decided wher to put the terminals that wont look silly.

nearly , i stuck another layer on with extra MEKP and it seems to be working soooo.. fingures crossed my adaptor will turn up in the morning and il be able to have it all in for japshow this sunday.

After a little thinking i decided to go the 8 inch route wiht my old Hu and alpine mono amp to drive the new sub. amp under glove box nicely hiddena dn sub in a custom box in the bose space. howver after making the front baffle to take the 8 i found it just wasnt going to work making the enclosure fit through the hole left ! so new plan sub is going in the boot passanger side order as this will be muhc easyer to mould ! so below is whats going in (if the head unit loom ever turns up!) more instal updates as i progress !

i in tend to be getting ont he m1 at about 7:30 be ther for just before 9 so i guess it depensd where your coming from/need to meet .

dont know about convoys but il heading up the m1 from the m10 hemel junction (well thats where il join it ) so could meet if your want.

or just do like me, keep the bonnet down and prentend its a sleeper might try and pick up some bits while im there too as i think theres quite a large traders area.

yes but then again anything can be done its juts a case of how much work. you could just drill some holes and bolt it in but DONT ! easyest thing is ignore that location and put in the boot but if you must mount it there (im in the process of putting an 8 there) its been done by taking the mtel plate out and fitting the box in the space left , have a search around .

liking the subtle rear spoiler , I had the same idea. Also considering the varis one myself so you may want to check that out too as its a little bigger but still subtle , i think !

tbh though a vented bonnet would probably do a better job of keeping the engine bay temps and thus any heat soak at bay

my previous focus St had a snorkel duct setup as oem but that had the snorkel placed up high near where the Z has the air box any hows. changed to a k n n typhoon and good good gain (14bhp on the a dyno) but that didnt have the heat soak issue i can see the Z getting . still quite shocked how hot the intake pipe gets , cant be good for air temps .
