99% of Newfoundlands are but nobody told Maximus this, it's like he's had 10 cans of redbull everyday They really are as soppy as they look. They're fantastic family dogs, and will sit and watch children and nose them back to where they're supposed to be, just like a parent human, but if someone threatens a member of the family, watch out, especially if it's a full grown male at around 90kgs and sporting that deep growl and bark. Thusly make great guard dogs, and sheerly the size of them scares most people away! They follow you around everywhere unless it's hot, then they'll hide in the shade. Maximus looks like he's growing into those hooves nicely. How old is he now? Ever have trouble trying to get into the car without the Newfie wanting to sneak in??!! He's 2 now although other than his size he acts exactly the same as when he was 2 months Our last Newfy was the very definition of the breed, gentle, loving, intelligent and a total wuss (would stand there with a bemused look on his face whilst other dogs were swinging off his ears). Maximus is Newfy on the outside and Rottweiller on the inside God help anyone that tried to hurt us or him He is very loyal and follows us everywhere. He loves absolutely everyone and everything (except Hedgehogs, he can't work those out ) He absolutely adores water and will swim for hours if we let him. In a nutshell he's a typical Newfy except for the calm and gentle bit

Yes that's right they cost him 2k inc a refurbed and that was without tyres(I paid £400 for just the front tyres) If a fellow Z owner doesn't buy them then I'll try ebay. I live in Shorne near Cobham

I have just ordered my BBS Wheels (Varrstoen copies actually ) so will be needing to find a new home for my Current wheels. They are Work Meister 3 piece split rims in 9.5 x 18 et24 and 10.5 x 18 et28. They are fitted with Goodyear Eagle F1 245/35/18 tyres which are only 2 months old and only covered approx 500 miles. The rears are Avon ZZ3's with 265/35/18 and have approx 5mm of tread remaining. The fronts have a 5mm spacer to clear the brembo's (have about 2mm clearence). My car is lowered and I have no rubbing issues at all even when it had 265 and 285 tyres it still never rubbed. The wheels are in excellent condition but that's not to say they are perfect. They were refurbished by the previous owner (not sure what company he used) the centers were done in light silver colour and the dishes/lips have been highly polished almost mirror finish. There are some imperfections beneath the painted parts of the wheels where the refurbisher hasn't rubbed them down properly but this is only noticable if you stick your nose right up close to the spokes. The very edge of the wheel lips all have faint evidence of where they've had light curb rash that's been machine polished out again it's not something you'd notice unless you get right in close but I'm being as honest as I can. One wheel has a very slight nic/dent in the very edge of the rim, again it's nothing major and I've taken a pic so you can see. These wheels with tyres would set you back about £3000 new and very rarely ever come up for sale used so grab a bargain at £1200. My new wheels won't be here for about 4 weeks so I'm happy to take a deposit to secure them or if somebody wants to loan me a set of wheels until my new ones arrive then they can have them now. Happy for people to come and view the wheels before they buy, I live in Kent but work in surrey. Pm me or call me on 07894828345 Deep dish Small nic/dent

I have this c-west one It was on my car when I bought it but I removed it as I prefer the stock look.

I have one and it cost £685 from Toxic rides. The sound is glorious, with lots of pops, bangs and gurgles. Without the bungs in I would not attempt any long drive or dare to do an early start (neighbours would lynch me ) but with the bungs in you get exactly the same noises but on a more bareable level I wouldn't change mine for anything

Currently I have these Work Meister alloys on But would rather have these

Wrong PCD. I'm asking here as Rarerims are a distributor for Varrstoen and Varrstoen make BBS LM copies and I'd like some

Can you get these as plenty of Z owners in the US have them?
-
Surely just out of blind curiosity do people that fill their Z up with normal unleaded ever glance over at the Super unleaded pump and wonder what cars are meant to use it? Maybe even put 2 and 2 together and realise that maybe just maybe it's for sports cars,,, wait a minute isn't that what I've got

Silverback Performance are excellent and are in Medway City Industrial estate by the tunnel http://www.silverbackperformance.co.uk/

Ok , I'll get back to you in 5 years to let you know if that was the fault
-
What's the remedy for the throttle position sensor going out of sync ?
-
Went to a mates garage today and got to him to check for fault codes, there were none. I then told him what happened and asked me if i'd put fuel in recently and if so from what garage. As it happened I had put fuel in it on saturday from a garage I never use but was very low on fuel so had no choice. He then told me that he'd had quite a few cars in recently with the same symptoms and all of them had clogged up fuel filters and they'd been using the same garage for fuel that I'd just used. Thankfully I'd only used that the garage once so hopefully my filter isn't too bad. I'll see if the car stays running as it is (perfect) but if it has the fault again it'll be new filter time and I'm guessing it's not going to be an easy job

Just to find out how many earth cables there are now
-
Yes leads are correct as I changed the plugs one by one and if I had the leads wrong the car would run badly all the time, my car ran fine on saturday after changing the plugs (although I never floored the car when I drove it) it then ran fine today after changing the coolant for the 1st 20 minutes, it was only after hitting about 6k rpm in 3rd and then changing to 4th did it lose power and die but then as I said earlier it started straight back up and no matter how hard I drove it I couldn't get it to miss a beat. The loose earth strap is a possibility as the road I was on when it died was very bumpy !
-
Surely that would only affect one cylinder and cause the car to drop to 5 cylinders not actually cut out? Appreciate the suggestion though

20ft lbs. What are you thinking ?
-
I changed the sparks plugs yesterday (stock items) and did a coolant change this morning. I thought I'd drive the car to make sure all was well and after 20 minutes I decided I'd give it some welly in 3rd gear which was fine but as soon as I went into 4th the car started to die(badly missing with lots of pops out of the exhaust) almost as if it had run out of fuel. I coasted to the side of the road and popped the bonnet to see if there was anything obviously wrong but all looked ok so I tried to start it and it fired up instantly, it then drove home absolutley fine . I can only guess that when I opened the bleed valve when I was bleeding the system coolant was spraying all over the place and that maybe some coolant has got into some electrial connection ? Anyway I've driven the car hard since it conked out and have had no problems so would anyone else have any thoughts on my diagnosis ?

I'd like to see BBS LM's copies in 19's with offsets to suit the Z
