PPod if you can keep us updated on what the detailer says. I live fairly close to you and I am interested in getting my car detailed at some point but I was going to fit a new bonnet and rear bumper, so some spraying would have to be done anyway.

Anybody on here ever done the modball rally? I follow their page on fb and obviously the pictures make it look absolutely stunning. Would love to take part but obviously it would cost some major amount of cash!

I finally got the car I had been after for a few years. 54 plate Azure blue GT spec Zed. Just a couple pics to get started with. I've already got a couple things ticked off my list... pics up soon! What I have done: Stubby Aerial Bonnet Dampers Sony double din screen fitted with rear view camera input. Garmin Sat Nav fitted perfectly to cubby space above head unit. Z logo boot divide. Full stainless system (not branded to my knowledge). Velocity Stack (not fitted yet) Rays purchased (going to get finished in shadow chrome and put on tomorrow ) Also within a fortnight of ownership received a p3 service including EVERY extra for a bit of piece of mind. Done at infinity glasgow, top knotch service I might add. My intentions: Plenum spacer Popcharger Chargespeed rear On the fence betweeen nismo lip or nismo bumper. Private plate. More suggestions welcome!

Really like the zed with those rays. How much fun does that s15 look though!

Yeah Irfan I totally agree about the cons of black wheels and unfortunately especially on rays because I dont think there shape/style does itself any favours for the big look to begin with. I have the regular wheels on now and they are finished in a sort of gloss slate grey, which I like, so I think it could be the best route to go down again. Soo far shadow chrome is winning!

Hi guys, Just recently bought myself a set of rays and whilst im waiting on them being delivered I cant make my mind up on what colour to go for. I'm quite picky on what colour of wheels go with a cars colour but i've always fancied black wheels. So for my azure blue zed, is there any pics of a blue zed with either black, shadow chrome or slate grey rays? I've seen a couple already but if anyones got any pics to share i'd love to see them. I asked about that. I was told no, not unless the car has a different contour to regular or the screen is in anyway an obscure size, if so the screen would come with it. So here's hoping not lol. What's the name of th place you used for that?

Yeah know what you mean I just fancied getting the extra bits while I have some spare cash the now. Halfrauds isn't the worst option in the world then. They have some decent units the only thing is I doubt they'd for the plug to make it work through the wheel. Tints is my next mod!

Just short of 500 all in mate. Probably not the cheapest deal all in but it includes everything I need including the plug set to work with the steering controls and Bose system. Since electrics are my forty I'm leaving it all for them to do. It'll take a few hours so hope the cinema in ek have something good on that morning haha.

Kris I'm getting a double din unit fitted on Friday audiowise in ek. I've went for a jvc unit with Bluetooth, mp3, DVD, CD, inputs for rear camera and can show most apps from my phone on screen ie Sat nav plus there's one I want to try called dashboard or something at supposedly can monitor power usage in bhp aswell as revs speed etc. I'll let you know how it goes. N meet up with you to see it if you fancy taking a look.

I actually did think about warm water and fairy liquid. I am not familiar with this mango juice lol but ill certainly check it out. Good idea about the bruch also Anymore suggestions let me know. Day off tomorrow (first since I got my zed) so could be some immense cleaning getting done!

What do you guys use for cleaning up the door cards? Mines seem to a tad greasy in places as when the light gets to shine on it certain patches are darker with little speckles shining through. Probably a terrible description but I'm just wondering what sort of trim restorer or cleaner everyone on here tends to work best with a zed interior. I used autoglym interior shampoo stuff but its not really upto the job

Well thats alot cheaper than motherwell taggarts nissan. Are Timpsons able to program a key with a lock/unlock function? I've been told before that getting another key can sometimes knock off the original key, has anyone had this issue?

Well guys the cars coming along nicely after a visit to infinity and a few small mods already done. I will be putting some decent pics up when the weathers nice enough to get some of the car. My question is though where is best to get an extra key made for the car, mines only came with one, if anyone other than nissan can do it. I have already spoke to nissan who have quoted Over £100 for the blade around £70 for the lock/unlock fobs and another £70 for it to be programmed to the car. Is this about right? Or is there a better place to get one? I seen a few threads about modding keys to the flip type etc but im just looking for an extra one for safe keeping.
